Favorite juices after 1st week of vaping

So far so great! A couple of missteps with budget juice on my first two orders, but since then I got stuff from FreedomSmokeUSA, Backwoods Brew and Vapor Station, and I am totally sold on all three vendors.

1. FreedomSmokeUSA Wyatt Earp - you never could have told me on day one that this would end up being my favorite juice. So rich, so dark, so complex. I discover something new about this blend every day. My initial thoughts were that it hit like a full flavor analog with a cigar-y exhale. After using it as my morning blend all week, I can say that impression is pretty valid, but also that there is so much more going on with this juice. Really satisfying, as in old leather, books, a roaring fireplace, and a general feeling that everything is right with the world. I love this juice. Just as good at 18mg as it is at 24mg, and a little easier to vape all day, but great at both strengths.

2. Backwoods Brew RY4 - The best of the 5 RY4's I've tried. Great, great tobacco base with sweet notes on exhale. Satisfying and rich. Like a special treat that you could vape all day long. I get this in 18mg.

3. FreedomSmokeUSA PureCig - Sometimes you just want to forget about all the adjectives and smoke a ....... cigarette. This would fool most people.

4. Vapor Station Frisco - A really nice surprise. This strikes me as being 555 done right. All the other 555s I tried had a wrong chocolate note to them. Not this. Nice dry analog tobacco flavor, not overpowering but not weak either, with a great nutty exhale. Everyone should place a Vapor Station order sometime, because I think the juice is very high quality and maybe doesn't get mentioned as much as FSUSA and BWB.

5. Not fair to pick any more right now because my opinion was the other juices I have need a little time in the cupboard.

So far I am really happy about this vaping business, and thankful that I found three vendors whose products have made me so happy this week! A big heartfelt thank you to David, Don and Eric! You guys are artisans, thank you.

I'm not enough of an ry4 connoisseur to write my own review so I'll piggyback onto yours!

My husband vaped fsusa exclusively since we quit smoking up to a couple of weeks ago (we changed due to diacetyl & vendor philosophical concerns & differences, I guess) and so I gave BWB a shot with my fingers crossed that dh wouldn't run back to analogs. As it turns out it is absolutely delicious RY4 - to me it is to RY4 what Frisco is to 555 to you - quintessential, and he prefers the BWB (I wasn't an ry4 fan, though I did like the American Spirit from time to time). He thinks he tastes a hint of clove, which I don't pick up, but we both agree that it's somehow not just a clearer, cleaner looking liquid, it's also a cleaner, brighter version of RY4.

I think what gives BWB RY4 a leg up on all other RY4s is that Don's tobacco base is just so perfect with the flavors that come on the back end. I don't dislike FSUSA's RY4 at all, it's just that for me BWB is the one. I am all about the Wyatt Earp though. Hands down my favorite juice so far.

I'll also say this about BWB: Maple Tobacco and Honey Flue Nut need to sit in my cupboard at least another week before I say anything about them, but the RY4 convinced me that Don's tobacco base is the perfect accompaniment to flavors, and my next order will have Applewood and Cherry in it for sure.

If you or your wife would like to venture out of the tobacco category, I'd also highly rec BWB's malty-toffee. It is hard to explain in that the flavors aren't quite what you'd expect and while it isn't a tobacco vape, it has that level of satisfaction for me. (I've got a review of it here that should still be on the 1st or 2nd page - it's impressive stuff.)

Thanks, that one was on my list for after dinner vaping, along with New York from Vapor Station, which I am dying to try. I am waiting for my order of Maple Cream from Mad Vapes in 24mg. I have always loved those little maple sugar candies and I hope it lives up to my expectations.

I don't know what happened with my order from VS (Eric and I think it actually may've been from shipping during extreme heat here in our TX summer), but my juices had an overpowering taste of "something" that I didn't care for - they really mellowed out after a while and I definitely enjoyed the New York, as well as the Amaretto Peach. I haven't tried madvapes yet - I'm thinking my next order will be from onestopdiyshop or purevapes... So many vendors, so little cash.

Oh, and everyone - including Don - says that malty-toffee gets better with about a week of steeping, but it became my all-day vape *instantly* - my 15mls was gone before I had the chance to find out!
