So what's a non-compliant vape? I'm new to this. I only have one bottle of juice, and 1 Smok Stick. Should I be stocking up? lol
A non complaint Vape is anything released after August 8th 2016.So what's a non-compliant vape? I'm new to this. I only have one bottle of juice, and 1 Smok Stick. Should I be stocking up? lol
I don't see it as a need just yet. Instead I see it as prudent to do so before the need arises. If/when it becomes unquestionable that there is such a need, product selection and prices likely won't be as attractive as they are today. And yes you need to stock up on Vape gear and juice.

If you are new to vaping, and using it as a tool to keep off the traditional cigarettes, you should have at least a small back-up supply of coils, juice, tanks, and mods. Think of it more like stocking the food pantry in case of a storm that keeps you away from the grocery store, rather than doomsday prepping to survive for years after "the big one." You don't want to run out of something and have to choose between a quick trip for a new pack, or a longer trip to replace vape stuff.Ok so I guess I need to spluge again and get another set up lol
Prior to Aug 8th 2016 panic I stockpiled a lot of gear and supplies. But since then I've been rotating out the cheaper stuff and clones for quality gear, hell I've spent a fortune but I'm very much in a comfort zone when the hammer comes down. What am I going to miss? Well mostly the variety of juices for I'm going to have to mix my own. There are a number of juices I'm going to really miss, yes there are recipes out there but bottom line is for the complex flavors I don't hold much hope on duplicating it.I don't see it as a need just yet. But regardless whether anyone decides to stock up, I'm with @zoiDman; every new vaper should have at least two complete working setups. They do break or mysteriously stop working.

US Customs will have the authority to seize all e-cig products that are not a cigalike. Many new vapors don't believe US Customs can accomplish this, but history shows that it already happened back in 2009.
Worse case scenario will be nothing except cigalikes made by Big Tobacco will be available to new vapers. They will be "closed system", meaning you won't be able to add your own e-liquid...essentially they will be expensive disposable devices.
This is why many long time vapers have learned to DIY their own liquids and stockpiled concentrated nicotine in their freezers. Many have learned to make their own coils/wicks for rebuildable atomizers.
US Customs will have the authority to seize all e-cig products that are not a cigalike. Many new vapors don't believe US Customs can accomplish this, but history shows that it already happened back in 2009 after the first Deeming Regulations. This temporarily killed the vaping industry and put many online shops out of business because they couldn't get product for several months and they never recovered what Customs took.

Yes I did.Have you read the source link to the FDA bid and the attached documents?
From an advocacy standpoint, what can be done about it? Nothing, if they are acting within the rules that they themselves enacted, and already been granted a victory in court. It would be foolish to issue a call to action on something that there is no grounds to fight.Yes I did.
Still wonder why no other vaping organizations have picked up on it.
A lot has changed since the 30's and 40's, a hell of a lot.View attachment 731427
This could be the exception that proves the rule.

Trust me, with the mass loss of Tobacco revenue for the Government plus the mass loss in revenue to Big Pharma, it is a priority.Agree, if the feds make it a priority, they may miss some but, they can bring down the industry.
Not that I doubt the OP article, but has anyone come across any more info about what's being posted by Vaping 360 ?
I get VTA (Vapor Technology Association) e-mails, the only thing they are reporting on is the flavor issue.
Same with CASAA
You would think this would be bigger news?
Yes I did.
