FDA Detaining Shipments in customs?

Has anybody heard anything new about the FDA taking up a stance against the importing of E-cigs into the US?

I recieved a letter today from the customs office in Chicago stating that my shipment was being detained due to "The article appears to be a new drug without an approved new drug application"??????

I have not heard anything new about this. Did you order from China? If so, was the package marked as an e-cig or e-cig supplies? Sometimes if China marks the package as such it will most definitely get seized. Weird that they seized it in the US though. Hopefully someone can chime in with more info than I was able to give. I'm curious about this, now.

There is another thread in these forums about it. cant remember off hand where but i remember reading it. Your not the first to get a blocked shipment. Do a search and i am sure you will find it.
