Curious to know about the process when the FDA announces their regulations. Will CASAA be there at the time, will there be a discussion right there at the hearing? Who will be there? Can someone chime in on this? I know there will be a comment period after, but I was wondering what can be done during.

You may have already found your answer elsewhere on ECF, but to answer you question in case others are curious...
There isn't a live hearing. The FDA will post a "docket" online that explains its proposed regulations and open it for the public to submit comments via an online form. However, CASAA representatives have been and will be testifying at FDA panels, workshops and hearings up until (and after, if needed) the proposed regulations are published to try to get consumer concerns addressed.
