I am still far far from ready to buy from a random vapor store. It has to be from well reviewed supplier. I aint the one who will be testing these. Its just very hard for me. These hardly have any reviews anywhere. Hardly anyone knows of their existence and buying e-liquid or cartos or battery from them is very hard for me right now.

Considering PV's are all made of standard materials and electrical parts, with USP grade flavoring and an FDA approved PG and VG base, the only "legal and moral" thing they can do is ban nicotine in liquid. That's how I look at it atleast.

Then, I'll just order it as an experimental research chemical and I'm set...lol.

I hate the world so I suspect this:

ban on all PV's, period.
vapers forced to buy pre-filled units
pre-filled units have additives and carcinogens
we die.

Honestly, i don't know what will happen, but I'll fight to keep on vaping.

ya even if they DID fully ban vaping... there are always loopholes and ways around it.

just change the name of "electronic cigarette juice" to something else without nicotine and sell that seperately.

i figure if they can legally sell "water pipes" but if you get pulled over and its found by a cop you can get ticketed for drug paraphernalia even if you do use it for tobacco then we could see PVs at a local head shop or something...

I actually took my ego with the vivi nova on it to the local police dept. to show them what it is and how it works just to avoid any potential problems down the road.

Why do I get the Distinct Impression that you Do Not have an Obama 2012 Bumper Sticker on your Car?

LOL

:D

I'm not a Republican or Democrat but Independent. But the facts are clear: the FDA tried to have vaping banned after the new administration came into power. Those who are close to the national political scence have made it clear who is against vaping, who is neutral and who is pro-vaping.

My biggest fear is a certain candidate in the upcoming election will latch onto vaping as a campaign gimmick and use illegal presidential powers to enact a ban in order to "save the children". Saving the children has become a popular way to enact laws and create bans that has been used successfully for many years now.

They were really impressed with it. I also might have made a convert to vaping.

Cool...

The reason I asked was because I live in a Major Metropolitan Area with a Population of Over 3,000,000. I don't think I could even visit all of the City Police agencies that are within 15 Miles of my house in One Day.

And even if I could, I would probably be arrested on Suspicion of Being Under of Something for walking into a Police Station and wanting to show them my PV.

Guess it's just a Good Example of how Many Different Areas members of the ECF come from.

So here is what I think they are going to do....

1. Tax it (duh!!!) the tax will be almost as high as analogs- This will not stop vapors, id pay as much or more as I did as a smoker to vap.

2. Ban internet sells- This will hurt it as a hobby but will increase the amount of "vapor" stores in operation.

3. Ban foreign imports- I have mixed emotions about this, I dont like foreign e-liquid but I love the equipment and price that comes out of chine.

4. Restrict it to only those +18- Good!!!!!!

5. Ban Flavors- OMG!!!! This is the one that scares me, but I think it will not have much of a punch.... places will just sell base liquid and flavor drops....... until the FDA bans the combination, but no clue how they could do that.

The E-liquid is way to easy to make, so I dont think BT will hurt us much, their products will suck and we will Vap on

They cant ban Nicotine, or regulate it as a controlled substance.... so I think vap'ing will have time to grow and our lobby will get larger as big tobacco slowly dies.

So... do you all agree, or am i wrong

Number 3 is a near impossibility.

The tax thing is also not likely, not that they won't want to, but 1st, the FDA doesn't set taxation policy, that's congress, and the taxes you see on digs were agreed to by big tobacco for the most part.

You also have to realize, a taxation debate is quite possibly the best thing that could ever happen to us, no one in congress wants to be seen as the ..... who kept people smoking.

I have to laugh when I hear the word Ban, we all know the Govt wants there greedy paws on all the money being made here on ecigs that's why big Tobacco and big Pharma have there hands in the till now, so no ban is happening ever,,,, then I have to laugh when I hear taxing vapor, what's steam going to have a tax next, 0mg juice cant be taxed, but the liquid Nic I can see them trying to tax for sure, but then they also will have to be collecting tax on all products made with liquid Nic, like the pesticides it is made with too, nicotine extract is one of the oldest botanical insecticides in use today, so lets not forget about all these people, then we have big Pharma using it in there products, should be fun to watch how this all pans out, especially how it effects the Chinese seeing it all comes from China too.

If the USA Govt was smart they would induce an export tax on everything that comes into the states from China, a 10% export tax alone would solve the healthcare situation and give every USA Citizen healthcare, so why isn't there an import tax on all Chinese manufactured goods that come into the USA ?

How you going to do that if the Chinese say fine, you tax our products 10%, we won't buy your T-Bills.

In my humble opinion the FDA will most likely ban flavors in the name of protecting children, however these flavors can be marketed as Hooka vapor e-Liquids because of a cultural significance.

It is also likely that online sales of e-Liquids will be banned, but as already stated, it can be produced at home and it will add to the brick and mortar retail segment.

They don't buy our T-Bills as a favor to us. They buy them because that is where they want to put some of their money.

They Buy our T-Bills as way of Hold the USA as an Economic Hostage.

We have to Play by their Rules when it Comes to Trade with them. We don’t tell them what to do. They tell Us.
