FDA, OK, Worst Case Scenario, ... When?

OK, so say the FDA goes ahead and decides to ban, regulate, tax, or some combination of all three, the mods, attys, and e-liquids that make up our vaping world.

In the worst case scenario (time wise, not severity of regulation wise) how soon do you think we can expect to see the first regulations, taxes, or banning of any vaping equipment?

I want to know how long I have to obtain things, before something I want may be declared illegal.

IMO they will ask custom to place a hold on any product not available for sale in the US prior to 15Feb07 the day the final regulation is published, and an application for FDA approval will have to made before it's legal to sell anything not on that list.

So expect a run on RN-400 series type stuff

WHAT is/does RN-400 series mean in English? Please.
