You might already know about the AAPHP citizen petition asking the FDA to rescind and correct its July 09 press release and also requesting e-cigs be classified as a reduced harm product.

If you wish to comment, the website is regulations.gov. The petition is FDA-2010-P-0093-0001 and they are taking citizen comments.

Please, please don"t talk about the government losing taxes from e-cigs,Big Pharma, and tobacco companies controlling the FDA. Those types of "conspiracy" comments are not only confrontational but counter productive. Please Comment respectfully on the issue of the July press release and the classification of ecigs as a reduced harm product.

Message your given AFTER you post a comment.......

"Your comment has been sent to the agency and will be available on Regulations.gov once it has been processed. Given certain regulations may have thousands of comments, processing may take several weeks before it can be viewed online."

The actual link is here:
Regulations.gov

But this is not exactly the FDA website for hearing what people want or don't want, correct? (...Not that the FDA works for the people anyway.)

So what precisely would any comments from the public address in this link?

Further questions:
Who is the AAHP?
Are they pro- or anti- electronic cigarette?
Because the only button for comment submission is on the AAHP docket line, and because I was unable to access any material about it, then
Just what in the world would my comment address???
And would it address the FDA or AAHP?

Where do I see the FDA petition itself to comment on, if that is what a comment on the AAHP - citizen petion line is suposed to be or do?

When does it close?

thanks.
