I am feeling kinda crabby about the U.S. mail service. I ordered an itaste vv 3 last Wed online. Paid for priority mail. Shipping notice said it should get here between Friday and Monday. Still hasn't arrived in my mailbox, and when I check the tracking info it is at the "sorting facility." That's where it was on Friday and Saturday and yesterday. What are they doing with it there, I wonder. So every day I have raced to the mailbox only to be disappointed. To make matters worse, I ordered an express kit from an ebay vendor in CA the day AFTER ordering the starter kit so I would have a backup battery . It arrived on Sat. morning. So I have the battery but no clearos (those, of course are in the starter kit). I look at it every day and say when oh when will I get to use you. Sorting facility is about an hour away--I should just go and pick it up!!! Hoping it comes tomorrow. Sigh....:mail:

Frustrating ... A little piece of advice ... never choose and pay for the priority shipping option, as in most cases 1st class shipping is just as fast 2-3 business days. I have received 1st class shipped packages as quickly as 36hours from CA to NY. Priority shipping is a total waste in 97 cases out of 100.

Just curious what facility is your's stuck in? I have one that has been sitting in Detroit since Thursday of last week. The est delivery was for Saturday.

Mine's stuck in Warrendale, PA (suburb of Pgh). We also have had lousy weather here, but the MAILMAN--poor guy--is managing to get here and close to normal time, too, in sub-zero weather and inches of snow/ice. I assume the sorting facility is some nice, warm building where everyone is working sans coats, hats, and mittens. Maybe not...

I almost never pay for priority mail, but because I ordered mid-week, I figured priority mail would get it here by the weekend vs waiting for it until Monday. How wrong could I have been....very, apparently!

let us consider the dangers of big trucks uncontrollable on the highways and biways of our nation. during some of these big winter storms, many of them (and rightfully so) pull off the side of the road to wait out the storm and save our precious packages and probably lives.

i'll wait frustratingly content.

true story.

i was replacing a screen on my brother-in-laws smart phone. payed some ridiculous amount extra shipping to get the new screen and install kit faster. after paying, noticed the place we ordered from was in the north end of delaware, maybe just over an hours drive away. figured what the heck, it should be here tomorrow morning then. watched the tracking take it to the next town over, 5 minutes away in less than 10 hours after the order was placed. then they held it for 4 more days in a container. turns out fedex has an option that was labeled on the site we ordered from as 3 to 5 days. here, what you're actually paying for is so they'll hold it until the 5th day.

he was so .......

I had some vape mail coming, 2 day delivery from NC to KS. It got here, bounced around town for 3 days, then was sent to CO. Stayed there a couple days, sent back to KS. Knocked around town again for 2 days, and was finally delivered yesterday. 10 days for a 2 day delivery...but the dang bills always get here early or on time!

If it was coming cross country, or through an area hit by weather, I would be fine with a delay. In this case, the item shows accepted at PO on 2/5, within an hour sent to and accepted at the sort facility. Last entry for it is 12:18 am on 2/6.

i must have misunderstood. forgive me.

probably got mixed up or dropped off the line somewhere. it doesn't excuse it when i'm awaiting my package, so i'm making no excuses, but sorting facilities go through an amazing amount of packages in a very short period. easy to lose one for a couple days.

Yup! I have an amazon warehouse 5 miles away from home and it takes about 3 days on average to get it here....

I'm not sure where my closest warehouse is, but 90% of the time my free 2-day shipping arrives a day early. Basically free overnight shipping. I order a lot from Amazon, so that $75 or so a year is more than worth it.

Just seeing the USPS word makes my blood pressure go up. The tracking is useless and forget trying to get someone on customer service. If you do hold for an hour, they only tell you what you can obviously see online. I'll gladly pay extra for UPS or Fed Ex any day. Also, one of the main reasons why I got Amazon Prime. Two day shipping. Guaranteed.

My last 2 USPS experience:
- 3 days delayed, I was informed via email that my package was placed in the wrong shipment. I live in jersey, package coming from ny but it had to go to wa first.
- currently 1 day delayed. Expected delivery was yesterday. Still dont have it.
