I just entered "VG itchy" in a google search and got a fair number of hits. I did a qick scan of a couple and there might be some info that is worthy of deeper reading. Some of the sites are not permitted to be linked to here on ECF so I am not even going to try; just duplicate the search I described.
Well I don't know how the weather is where you are but it's been dry as hell... and I've been quiet itchy due to that.
The weather is cold here so I don't think it is down to weather.
As for @Rin13 mentioning weather, and you mentioning cold, I will add this thought from my own experience. I have personally found that the cold dry air plays a big part for my own itchiness. During the winter (and the associated dry air) I have to be careful with supplemental heat. If I take a really hot shower, use an electric blanket so I can crawl into a warm toasty bed, or use the "heater" setting in the car (the one that blows right onto your legs when sitting in the front seats), I can start scratching myself bloody. I don't really know what the magic combination is. Lotions will only help so much (helps a bit if applied before exposure to heat; not at all if already itchy). And it never happens during warmer months. The only thing that seems to be close to a 100% prevention is the avoidance of excess heat. I should also say that my (bizarre) reaction existed long before I started to vape so I feel fairly certain it is not related.

I don't know if this has anything to do with your situation but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
