I feel like I can't breathe when I quit analogs, I understand my lungs are clearing themselves out and getting used to regular air but it becomes really unbearable sometimes.

I felt like this earlier tonight and just bought 2 packs of analogs because I feel like I'm dying when this happens. I know that nicotine is a stimulant and causes vasodialation in the lungs making it feel like it is easier to breathe right after having a cigarette but I don't believe the e-juice has nearly the same amount of nicotine as analogs.

Tonight when I had a single analog after hours of vaping I felt that hit of nicotine, got quite dizzy as if I haven't had a cigarette in months. The past few days I haven't had any analogs but have been vaping constantly yet nothing happens as far as feeling the nicotine.

I'm currently using 36 mg nicotine but still very little effects are felt :(.

That's not too far off the mark, I feel like I am suffocating. Your body is thowing a tantrum! You are suffering the effects of a very hard withdrawal. As you are already getting your nic fix, it must be the other 3999 chemicals in an analog that are rebelling. They are the ones that are suffocating, not you.
Try taking a steamy shower, drink some coffee or tea. try to take your mind off analogs until your body catches up.
Good luck and Welcome to ECF

One time I quit cold turkey and I would wake up in the night and couldn't breathe.
It was a scary thing. I quit for three weeks and everyday have awful. Everyone
said it was in my mind after a week. I say, bull.
I also had a major panic attack and had to go to the hospital.
After that happen, I got my cigs back. Than I was dizzy.
I have not had any of this to happen to me,since vaping.

I still smoke a few analogs, but that will stop soon. I am going to give myself time to adjust. Give my body time to get over all the chemicals in those analogs.
Do not rush it. You will know, when it is time to quit analogs completely.
Just vape and try not to smoke. If you feel like you need a analogs, just get one.
Just try to vape alot more than analogs.

Using 36mg. liquid you are probably getting far more nicotine than you get from tobacco cigarettes.

You are probably getting a head rush from cigarettes because the multitude of poisons in them.

If you can tough it out through the difficult part it WILL get easier to live without cigarettes. I smoked for almost 25 years and if you asked me last December I would have told you I can not imagine ever living without cigarettes.

It was not without hurdles and sleepless nights. There were anxiety attacks and moments of weakness where I just wanted to smoke a cigarette more than anything in the world. It was not easy but now that I have gotten through that part things have gotten much easier.

Don't give up, you CAN do it.

Basically, Ruyan's carts are 16mg liquid and you have to puff an e-cig 72 times to equal the nicotine from one tobacco cigarette. Even newer tests say an e-cig produces only 1/10th the blood nicotine level of a tobacco cigarette.

Listen to your body, always, but don't fear nicotine overdose so much that you fail to satisfy cravings and relapse to cigarettes.

TropicalBob has done more research than most on this forum. I trust his knowledge. But I also agree with SJ that you should talk with your doctor.

Hey Yoshi
Always, always be kind to yourself.

For what it's worth, I didn't focus on quitting analogs when I started vaping. Just started vaping. The number of analogs I smoked each day just gradually dropped off over the course of time.

What I did focus on was this forum. Reading all the tips and tricks, anecdotes, failures and successes in order to get the most out of my PV's and the vaping experience.

Drink plenty of water, perfect your cart refill methods and the perfect draw for your particular PV. Organize your PV supplies, find or make the ultimate carrying case, smoke one as it seems right and no worries.

Well said Old Dirt! The only reason I started vaping was so i could do it at work. The first morning anolog and after eating ones were still important but other times my PV did the trick. When I perfected the use of my 901, especially with a pass through, the anologs no longer interested me. Couldn't believe it after 35yr of smoking! Yoshi if the chest thing continues you should see the Dr. I didn't have any experience like that at all. PS anolog free since May 12th. All my best, dawn

i smoked for 32 years and for the last 10 or so i would wake up in the morning feeling as though if i took too deep a breath my lungs would rip apart. the only thing that would allieviate it would be... to smoke a cigarette or two.
when i switched to vaping this did continue for a few days and only having a cig seemed to help, but the feeling did taper off in about a week to the point where that feeling disappeared altogether.
i can't say that i miss it.

buy an epi inhalor at your local drug stor, it opens of the blood vessels nd aveoli of your lungs and makes every thing better, i promise, ive got one every where in my house

I assume you mean an Epinephrine Inhaler, which probably wouldnt be a great idea unless you suffer from severe allergic reactions and just dont like using an Epi-Pen. Epinephrine is also not the safest drug out there, especially if you dont need it.

If, by chance you mean, the Medihaler-Epi. Well that is for asthmatics. Also probably not the best idea for just anyone to use.

You need to see your Doctor.

Every time I try quiting smoking I have the same problem. I turn in to a mucus machine. The doctors keep asking me if I have asthma. I have gradual reduced my analogs to the point that if I don't go below 3 a day I don't have the problem. My husband said I was crazy (could be) and I have not told my Doctor because he would think I was crazy too.

A girl has to do what she has to do.

I did read about a rare allergy that analogs helps, can't remember where I read it had to do with the "smoker paradox".

An epi inhaler can be dangerous if over dosed causing heart problems, or if used for prolonged periods can cause severe damage to the cardiovascular system and the pericardium.

I also get worse "no cig anxiety attacks" during the night time which may be associated with being inside and not getting enough high oxygen air. I will try to keep the windows open, and am using Clear Lungs herb pills to clean out my lungs, also using Yerba Santa herbs mixed into green tea to help with the breathing, Vicks backrub couldn't hurt either.

it might b a good idea if you attempt a detox mechanism as well as vaping. this will help to get rid of all the bad chemicals stored in your system and help you kind of reset that body chemistry.

I dont know the exact recipe, but a homemade detox drink consisting of Large quantities of water, lemon juice, kayan pepper, and natural syrup has had great reviews.

Also believe it or not exercise, go RUN! even if its only for half a mile, this will hurt and suck at first and you will probally will fill worse after, but i promise you, you will feel better the next day. This will help take away that suffocating feeling because it is a natural way to dilate you pulmonary vessels as well as your bronchioles
