Good morning! Here I am again - ;)

So here's my observation -- If I puff the mostly VG/Pg, I have a more "juicy" cough that brings with it quite a bit of light to medium yellow mucous. I switched to the PG/vg mix and now I still have a cough that brings up some phlegm - just not quite as much -- and my voice sounds a bit hoarse.

I've read how the mucous is my lungs healing and getting rid of the goop after smoking but I'm really not sold on that theory. Before I quit smoking, I had developed a slight smokers cough upon waking in the morning, and only coughed up very TINY & CLEAR mucous balls... I quit smoking in January of this year (without using e-cigs) and for the few months that followed I didn't experience any of this thick, nasty tasting phlegm, and throat irritation...

Any updates or solid facts from anyone else here??? Care to share??

I went threw this my second week of vaping, it actually JUST went away about 2 days ago. I had Ulcers ALL OVER my tongue and it felt like I had something stuck in my throat.

This stuff dries you out BAD, drink lots of water or Gatorade, stay hydrated. I also got these saliva pills from the Pharmacy, they worked MIRACLES on relief. My tongue was SO dry, that I literally had cracks in my tongue. I switched to a 100% VG Juice as well, during this time, so I could continue to vape, it helped alot. Now I'm back to ALL juices and no more NOTHING!

In other words, I think your body just has to get used to the ditching of the smokes and the introduction of the VAAAAAPPPPPPOOORRR!

I had the same harsh feeling in the back of my throat, when I first started, useing B/M juice they had in stock, I think I bought 20 different flavors, all give me the same harsh throat syndrome. I found Virgin Vapor, bought about 6 different organic flavors and it was the difference between day and night. very very smooth and tasteful, have since found some other vendors with quality juice at a lesser price. Oh yea, I have always drank plenty of water, gatorade since day one.

So... how is this working out for you now? Have you tried 100% PG? Organic juices?
I switched to 100% PG two weeks ago, and I was getting better. Then after a few days I tried 92.5 PG/7.5 VG and got completely messed up again. Still phlegmy, but much better than with VG.
It seems there's something else that messes me up too: I have flavours from only one brand now, and two of them coats my throat from 1st puff even if there's no VG in it at all. I have ordered PG base and flavours from Hangsen now, and if it doesn't make a difference, I don't know...
Just guessing: Maybe try cotton wicks instead of silica wicks? I think (but not sure) I was worse when I used polyfill cartridges than when using clearomizers with cotton wicks...

Years ago I used to burn incense all the time (didn't smoke then), and I was always phlegmy in my nose and throat. Incense smoke leaves oil residue, so it's a no-brainer how that came to be. But it was not half as bad as with VG. Well, I didn't inhale a lot incense smoke through my mouth, so... Oh, I'm rambling

Ramble on, And now's the time, the time is now, to sing my song.
I'm goin' 'round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way.
I've been this way ten years to the day, Ramble on,
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams.
