Fell in love all over again

So I never thought I would be able to like my Provari any more than I already did. But then I buffed and shined her up and fell in love again. Pictures don't do it justice.

Now I want a mini....

Nice! And that's a 2.5? I'd be afraid of losing grip if I took off that satin finish. Although I do have a Tatroe base on the way . . .

It started out with the satin finish so all I did was use a 1000 grit sanding pad to rough it up slightly then did a two stage buffing process on my bench grinder starting with a denim wheel and finishing it up on cushion sewn wheel for that mirror shine. After that it was a little elbow grease and metal polish.

In all, it took about 2 1/2 hours over two days to get it done. Luckily dis-assembly and reassembly is pretty easy so I was never without my favorite PV for those two days.

I do want a mini but I'm trying to snag a GP PAPS LUX v2.5, a second Spheroid and a Spheroid tube replacement for the one I accidentally thrashed today, in the morning.
