Fell off the vaper wagon for a bit - ready to go again... need some input.

Hello all, have not been here for a while as I stopped vaping for about 7 months and I was doing so good for about 4 months. It just seemed like I was not getting enough throat hit or not much vapor with the model(s) type I had/tried. I tried high nic - low nic levels and as long as I get a good throat hit and lots of vapor I realy don' t think I need much Nico.
Tried VG mixtures etc.

I tried the Classic RN4081 and the only time it seemed like enough vapor was if I used the USB pass through. I think it depended on the battey strength or somthing. Any rate tried the DSE901 also and same thing.

So instead of trying to test out a whole bunch of different kinds/brands and the expense in doing so. Can someone point me into a good stong e-cig that will give lots of vapor and a good strong throat hit and long battery life?

I know probally asking for way to much here, but tought it woudl not hurt to ask. I did fill my cartridges and e-fluid so I know about doing that. I do not care for the manual battery and maybe because I just never gave myself a chance to get used to hitting the button, over all I do prefer the automatic.

Any suggestions??

Thanks so much,

I seriously doubt you're going to find all this in an auto e-cig. E-cigs do an amazing job of getting people permanently off analogs, but it seems most find the cig-like auto's to be stepping stones to devices that really deliver what they need. I hope you'll be open to other options that deliver very satisfying amounts of vapor, flavor and throat hit and make you another ex-smoker. Wishing you the very best!

I agree with flyer this time try something serious without breaking the bank, how about a vtube from apollo cigs?

check them out

I'm willing to try anythign as I really want to quit cigarettes. Is there anything that isn't super huge that gives lots of vapor for a small frame women that doesn't look like I'm puffing on a tank..but still packs a punch? Manual I guess is fine, I can get used to it. How big is the ego-v6?'

I also checked out the vtube that doesn't look to big and bulky.

This is all new territory for me as the other ones I tried were pretty small, but like I said willing to try just about anything at this point.

Thanks so much,

I felt like this for a long time... until I got a kgo with a 3.5 ml juice tank. the vapor had to be more vg and then I got a much better throat hit. I eventually didnt want cigs anymore.

Flyer has presented really good advice. I normally recommend Kgo for beginners and they are great. Since you have some vaping experience I am going to suggest an Ego CTwist. This will allow you to venture into variable voltage for a low cost. And if you are really serious get yourself a provari to compliment the Twist.

I went back and re-read your original post and want to cover the throat hit vapor section of it.

Throat hit: the main cause is nicotine. More nic , more throat hit, but more PG allows more TH from nic. Also more wattage (warmer vape) (voltage squared divided by ohms of atomizer) will enhance the TH.

Vapor: it is well known that more VG = more vapor. But vg can also mute some of the throat hit and even the flavor. Vg does though adds some sweetness.

I would suggest you get 70% PG liquid. You want TH then make sure you got nic in that liquid. If using high wattage you can still get lots of vapor with low VG. Some claim you can get decent TH from high vg if you have enough wattage to compensate.

As far as warmth of vape to enhance TH: Kgo is pretty good if you used LR (low resistance) cartomizers. Ego twist allows a better range of voltage to use with most any cartomizer. A provari is the best of the best in all categories except: a provari is too heavy - bulkly - and too expensive to risk in certain situations. I use a provari when I can and I use a twist where it is more convienant.

I recently started vaping again and here is my setup and what I advice since I struggled until I had it.

Get a provari mini from here:
ProVari Variable Voltage Ecig: Best Variable Voltage E Cig Available!

Get the cheaper charger on that page and 2 batteries so you can swap.

If you can swing it get the extension and 2 of the bigger batteries.

Also get the large tank and a few of the dct cartos on that page.

If you can swing it then instead of getting the tank and cartos there get a regular size tank from here:
Phiniac Hand blown Tanks - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

with the tank kit:
Phiniac Tank Kit - Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

Then buy the cartos for that tank.. I started here:
Punched Boge SR 3.0 ohm - Spring Vapor

Also get a glass drip tip:
trippy tips

(or on Home page on sale nights .. follow thread here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...er-forum/184358-art-glass-drip-tips-5002.html ) also can check www.mstsbakery.com for trippy tips .. she gets them also from time to time.. they sell out quick

I've tried tons of companies but my favorite juices are from kick bass vapor.
KickBassVapor E-Liquid

Try warm sugar cookie, hummingbird nectar, butterscotch bon bon.. and anything else that appeals.. it's all good. I got double flavor since my taste buds were shot again.

Good luck!

Oh and I got a small bottle of 30mg nicotine from mstsbakery.com when I really made the push to not have a cigarette at all the first day I committed to vaping (again). So I'd drip that in an atomizer I had laying around from before and my old buzz and then vape the 24mg and 18mg stuff I ordered from kick bass. I found that way when I REALLY wanted a cigarette I'd make myself vape the 30mg stuff and I'd be okay.

I'm at 18mg now (three weeks later) and will go down again sometime soon. Goal is just to get to 0 nic since last time I vaped over a year staying at 24mg.. which is probably what kicked me into picking up a cigarette again when my buzz died.

If a $300-350 setup doesn't phase you, and you can add another $40 or so for a backup to use when the Provari is too heavy or expensive to tote around, then take Jeseryn's advice and go for it.

If you're not made of money, you can get a kGo, which is probably the best all-around intermediate kit, or if you don't mind the size of the V-tube or the V-tube mini, they are a better deal. Wth the 30% discount code, Vtube30, the aluminum version will cost you only a few dollars more than a kGo kit. They're 1/4 the price of the Provari and do 95% of what the Provari does. They a cost little more than the kgo or Twist but they aren't throwaway e-cigs. They have a year warranty, which means you'll still be using your V-tube under warranty after you've thrown your Twist or kgo in the trash because the batteries wore out.

If you decide you like the Twist, don't forget you'll need something to use while it's charging for 3 hours or so. Don't let the low price fool you. They are NOT the choice if you don't have something else to use if they fail or when they're charging. The 650mah Twist will only last 3-4 hours between charges. The 1000mah Twist will last about 8 hours, but it's even bigger than the V-Tube

Try the V tube if the price tag on the Provari scares you. You can also get a smoke tech tank that will do the same thing as a phiniac tank for around 13 bucks. Nothing against phiniac just trying to save you a few bucks while you are in the process of needing everything all at once. I have the Provari as well and feel it is the best but some people need to save awhile before buying one. The next best thing is the v tube from apollo e cigs. I have yet to find a situation where I don't want to use my Provari. I even use it in the pool. If the v tube or provari don't save you nothing will LOL.

Just go to Cropduster901 and get an Echo, they're an auto, great battery life, great throat hit and vapor production. You'll get about 7 hours vape time out if the 650mah, about double that out of the 1300mah. The single coil Echo cartomizers are fantastic, last for ages. This device ticks every box of what you wanted in your original post and it has a proven track record of being a reliable device.

I wonder why, out of a thousand mid sized PVs and mods, the Echo is the only one with an automatic battery.

Do they know something nobody else knows?
Do they have super secret technology to make the Echo the only auto battery that can't be destroyed by leaking juice?
Do they have a way to avoid the automatic drag cutoff that no other company has figured out?
Are they alone able to make an automatic that can't be triggered by noise?
Is the Echo so light that you can dangle it from your lips and puff on it like a cigarette?
Has the Echo figured out how to make an auto battery give you the control of your hit like a manual does?

Why are there no other big or mid-sized PVs, regardless of cost, that use atomatic batteries?

How come even Smokeless image gives their large X2 battery a manual switch and no auto option?

Could the simple answer be that manual batteries are so much better that virtually everyone who makes it past the mini-cig stage prefers the manual battery? Are all those experienced vapers wrong?

Could it be that automatic batteries were invented as a marketing gimmick to attract new vapers, much like the red LED and the filter colored cartridge, so they can say it "looks and feels like a cigarette"?

Yeah, I think that's why auto batteries were invented and why only the Echo continues to use them in a device not designed with the aim of attracting smokers to e-cigs in the first place.

I have a problem with Joytech in this. In order to differentiate themselves in the market, do they invent and innovate? No. They take old failed systems, give them a facelift and a new name and put them out on the market. They did it with the eGo-T and C when they tried to re-invent the failed cartridge/atty system. Now they try to transplant the useless automatic battery on a device that's so big it can't possibly take advantage of the one thing an automatic battery might possibly be useful for. You aren't going to use both hands for something while you vape an Echo. It's hard enough to do that with a mini-cig. It's impossible with an echo.
