It happened after 5 weeks without a cigarette. I had insomnia after an insanely stressful weekend, I was still awake at 7:00 this morning. I had even taken 3 melatonin to help me sleep (normally 2 knock me out). So, I opened a fresh pack of American Spirits and had one, thinking that my insomnia might have had something to do with withdrawal, or maybe it would do a better job of relieving stress.

It tasted lousy. Really lousy, not something I would crave. And I really didn't like the smell.

I was also surprised that it seemed to have no throat hit! I must be vaping pretty heavily - it didn't even feel like I was inhaling anything. Very unsatisfying. And it didn't help me to sleep, of course. I got up a half hour later and vaped a little, and was much more satisfied.

So, even though I fell off the wagon for a moment, I think it helped me to confirm that I'm an ex-smoker.

Great story...you're a winner!!!!!

Try some low nic juice if you happen to get to the place where you think you might be wanting to go to sleep soon.

Humor break: A "friend" sent me this advice: Don't take a sleeping pill and a laxative at the same time.
