Yes, and I still "slip" now and then. Good folks around here and good support... you are among friends! For me it's that morning cig with my coffee. Then I totally got over that and it was only when around other people smoking, then got over that, and was fine until one day my vape device didn't work... freaked out and bought some cheap cigars ($10 a pack for cigs here in California, but 3 pack of filter cigars only $2) My lesson was to have a backup device (so I have a choice) but still once a week break down and have a cig. Funny thing is after I have a cig and then vape I think " wow, that's so much better... what was I thinking?" I don't miss the smell, the cough, the $10 a pack, the health issues, looking at the nasty butts in the ashtray. I totally needed nicotine at first (18mg) and then happy with 12mg (actually still need that much) and yes, there are other compounds I miss, but if I get a nice nic buzz I'm OK and the vape tastes so good! Been 3 months. A big incentive for me is saving money... can't afford to smoke even if I want to, and after getting a vape device and some
juice, it's so much cheaper. Just now getting into DIY
juice... talk about saving money! I get frustrated when my coils don't last long enough, but still way cheaper than cigs. It's a fun hobby and you can find lots of clearance sales. My first RDA is coming in a few days... very satisfying to know I can build my own coils, wick them, and make my own juice... I'm hooked big time! Did you know I once hit an all time low? Living in the mountains, no money, room mate smoked and would throw cig butts in the snow. I actually scrounged up the wet butts, dried them on the wood stove, and re-rolled them. I try to remember that nasty taste and how low I felt about myself... how addicted I was. By the way, it's so cool when you see someone in public place
vaping and bond with them... same around here... good folks for sure.
