I am asking this question here because I totally trust what you guys tell me.

Looking for a dripper just to try new flavors.

Can you point me in the direction of something that is really easy to use and explain to me the differences between one with a bridge and bridgeless?

Also, how do you clean in between flavors?

Anything else you think I need to know, please chime in.

DaveOno suggested I get that "Bit of everything" from AIV so I did tonight and am thinking a dripper will be the best option to try the flavors in those little bottles.

Appreciate any help you can give me as I am clueless on this one.

We discussed something similar recently, and while you could pull the batting out of a carto to drip 2 drops at a time (not recommended on Auto batteries), the general consensus was that the Mini tank was preferred, closely followed by the Triton tank (because some feel that the Triton performance is much better, and improves some flavors).

Personally, I've tried the carto drip, but prefer the Mini tank. In actuality, I mostly use a Triton tank (I keep a dozen spare coils handy, and have 7 tanks) and I prefer to take the time to enjoy flavors I try, and how they fit in with my ADV.

Thank you BigBen2k.

That is what I usually do and it isn't really inconvenient because the tanks are so easy to clean anyway.

I have never bought any mini tanks because have tried a disposable one on the ego battery I have and the don't come apart so they are ridiculous to clean and after I did try to clean one there was an awful taste to it after that so I had to throw it away.

Thank you for your advice, I just heard people saying how much better the flavor was and it was convenient to do it that way.

See? That's why I wanted to ask this question here because I trust what you tell me.

Thanks for taking the time and have a wonderful Holiday.

Cindy,

You should try a Halo mini tank, they are inexpensive. I mean, why not? I find them a bit hotter with a tighter draw than a Triton. But I've had no trouble rinsing and re-using. But good juices are better in the Triton.

I can't help you with drippers. One day, I might research it and get one with a compatible battery, most likely a VV. That iTaste mvp is a candidate, since I don't find it very portable anyway, and dripping isn't either, IMHO. I like the redneck carto drip, just for checking out a flavor I can't wait to try. But I like BigBen's method, lots of coils with tanks. (lol, I have 7 tanks as well, with a mess of coils.)

I can't wait to hear your opinions on the BoE from AiV. Their multi-layered flavors, like Halo flavors, really rock in the Triton. (although it might be better posted in another section)

Will let you DaveOno when I get them and taste everything.

I truly hope I don't like them all because I will just spend more money on juice then I do now.

Tuesday I ordered 7 bottles from Tasty Vapor, Kick Bass is closed til after the 1st and I have plenty of Halo juices so I thought about 3:00 this afternoon that if AIV was still open, I would go ahead and order that sampler.

They were still open so I took that as a sign (geez, I'll use any justification I can, won't I?) and ordered.

Thanks guys I think I will just order a few mini tanks tomorrow and see how I like them.

Need another pack of coils anyway because when I have less than 20 on hand, I get anxious.

Anyway, I can always count on you for any questions I have.

I appreciate that so much.

just to expand thesandman's message, because I was a bit confused at first. a drip atomiser has no prebuilt factory made coils, you buy a spool of kanthal wire for $6, and usually sterile cotton balls, and make your own coils. to change flavours, you remove the old wet cotton and replace it with new cotton.

For either G6 or Triton batteries, I just go with the mini tanks to sample flavors...there are drippers that you can use with a thread adapter, but IMHO a bit more trouble than its worth.

I don't have any problem soaking a mini tank in hot (not boiling!) water, dry them off with a hair dryer, then letting them sit for a day or two before using again with a new flavor. The mini tanks are more cleanable than many think, but patience is the key, letting them thoroughly soak clean, and letting them sit until bone-dry before re-using.

I have RBA/RDAs that I use with 510 mods, but always keep a few mini tanks for use with my Triton.

Thank you Chesty!

I did not understand that you had to make your own coils for dripping attys.

For now I like to keep everything as simple as possible and wouldn't want to do that.

For sure I will be ordering the mini tanks today.

Thank you so much for taking your time to explain that to me.

Really, I appreciate it so much.

You don't have to build your own coils for a dripping style of juice testing. There are rebuildable and non-rebuildable dripping atomizers.

I primarily use an inexpensive (< $20) A7 for my rebuildable 510-connection atomizer. Rebuilding an A7 is pretty easy if you've rebuilt before. It takes me about 5 minutes to rebuild. The A7 is about the size of a Triton tank and can sometimes be found on sale for $10. Of course, you'll also need a supply of rebuilding materials. Some people vape rebuildables dry and then change flavors, some just drip on top of the previous juice, some (like me) just rebuild with a new coil and wick. This system is not something to use if you want to sample 10 flavors in a pure sense in 10 minutes.

I primarily use an inexpensive (< $5) generic 2Ω bridgeless with a driptip for my non-rebuildable 510-connection atomizers (it also fits on your eGo). This generic bridgeless 510 atomizer is about the size of your little finger's fingernail. It has no wick so you just drip and vape. Because there is no wick, there is also no "dry hit" when you need to add more drops. This little bridgeless atty is really only good for juice testing, as it will only hold around 4-6 drops of juice. Any more and you'll flood it making a mess of your battery. But that makes it perfect for sampling many different juices in a small amount of time. You can add 3 drops of juice to one of these little atomizers and get at least 5 good draws before adding more drops. If you want to switch flavors, either draw until no vapor or rinse the atty out under the sink faucet, shake it out, dry burn it and add drops. Switching on the fly takes 5-10 seconds, switching by rinsing takes less than one minute because there are no wicks to dry (just take care not to twist the centerpost at the connection end or you'll break the coil leads off). The coil on this type of atomizer will eventually burn out. My last few lasted about 6-8 weeks each. The last one of these I used, I sampled each of the flavors in a Halo sample tin, rinsed it out, sampled each of the flavors in another Halo tin, rinsed it out, sampled everything Five Pawns had to offer, rinsed it out, sampled 5 flavors from AVE, rinsed it out and have been vaping Belgian Cocoa on it every evening for the past 2 weeks. It will probably die sometime this weekend or next. No big deal, I have 2-3 more.

If I know I've just sampled a juice to die for, I'll immediately load up a Triton tank. If it's good but not sure if it's great, I'll either load up a G6 minitank or keep dripping until I've made a decision. The minitanks work great, but they took too much of my time when all I wanted to do was sample 3-4 drops and switch. Just my two :2c:

Seapup, you almost have me interested to try your technique for taste testing. It would be nice to just use a few drops and give a flavor a whirl, and your details about testing an impressive number of juices from different vendors are what's giving me a rather long pause. Saving your post.

But oh, how I love the simplicity of the mini tanks. It might be a while before I start fiddling with a drip tip option.

I use non rebuildable atomizers. I use the joyetech brand. Mine is a 2.2ohm and I run it at 4.7v

It is considered an old school way to drip but I just enjoy the simplicity of it. Of course I usually vape net tobaccos with them primarily. It is quite the experience but only something I do when I have the time.

Thanks for sharing that info.

Have been looking at getting one for awhile now just to try dripping with new flavors.

It seems like it would be the easiest way to go about it, then if I like it I can load up the Triton tank.

But I want a cheap one that works well.

I think I understand now with everyone's help how it all works.

Thanks for taking the time to help me TCO76, you are a keeper for sure.

Ocelot has a good blog about dripping and all the different types and how-to's. It is called drip.drip.drip. I am still a newb and she explains it better.

Have fun with it.

ok i didn;t know that, thanks. looking at the A7, the coil you buy is a wire wrapped around a wick, and you need a screw driver and pliers to install, it's delicate work and not as easy as screwing in a triton head.
