Still trying the AIV samples.

Will be reordering Frost Blossom, Orange Creamsicle, and Zombie Apocalypse for sure.

I am waiting on my mini tanks to try the rest.

Am going to try Lemon loves cake in one of them because dripping I really can't detect the lemon flavor at all.

Punkin Tumble didn't taste good either.

While Cupcake City is good, I already have a TV cupcake flavor that I added Pecan and Caramel to that it unbelievably good so I am spoiled there.

Will let you know as I try more.

So Cal
I found them all to be really lacking in taste. I did order Twas Brillig because out of all of them I could see possibilities - but I forgot to order extra flavor shots, and even though I emailed them right away they said it was too late:(

I've considered trying out AiV, but I guess I'm hesitant since my ADVs are already much easier to get through Halo. I have waaaay too many "Hrm, this sounds amazing..."

*click buy*
*wait*

*get it in the mail*
*drip a few test vapes after a 45m warm water bath*
*make a face and toss it in a drawer for a few months *

I guess I have enough bad juice on hand to kill a Texas mound of fire ants though, so it's not all bad?

Tapped out on a phone... I think

AmandaD, I agree with you that AIV do seem light on the flavor.

I am spoiled by TV and KBV(I always order "Extra Flavor") because their flavors are bold.

And if I am not really liking a flavor, I won't vape it.

There are just too many really good ones to waste my time on something I don't really love.

JLO187, I can't tell you how much juice I have either thrown away or thrown into my drawer because it just wasn't good.

I have been sticking with my three go to vendors (Halo, Tasty Vapor, Kick Bass Vapor) and order every 7-10 days, but still getting a few samples here and there.

But most of the samples I get, go in the drawer so I have drastically cut back.

Hubby asked me the other night if I thought I had enough juice so I added it up. (He was being sarcastic, btw!)

I keep all the juices I like in a long basket on my bedside table.

So I decided to add up how many mls I have in there.

1450 mls of stuff that I really love.

I know, way too much!

Really I shouldn't even make an order next week, but I will justify it somehow!

Oh well, at least I'm not buying analogs!

I've heard good things about them - are their flavors strong? AIV was so faint I thought my tastebuds had gone on strike...LOL

I gotta admit, one of my other favorite flavors I get from Tasty Vapor... That's another place that I've found is on par with Halo's liquids. Reaaaally like their peach cobbler liquid, but talk about slow delivery!

Yeah, all the ones I've tried have had a great flavor to then... The peach cobbler though, it's so dead on, it's scary! Peaches, a hint of cinnamon (never had it hurt a tank, so no worries on that), and a great crust flavor as well... It's also been the best peach flavor of anywhere I've tasted.
Certainly worth a browse on the site.

AngiBe calls that amount of Voodoo "one afternoon's worth"

Heeheeheehee true, so true. A friend of mine got the AiV sampler thing and gave me 6 samples she thought I'd like..haven't even tried them yet. I heard AiVs flavors are light/subtle and they have a lot of teas. Well, I love smack you in the face bold flavors and HATE tea of any kind so testing these should be interesting.

Halo, thus far, has been very good, strong flavors that don't put my taste buds asleep real quick. I have found some others I love too in all various kinds of flavors from tobacco to bakery just to keep my taste buds alert. I just know light fruit does nothing for me.

I agree, subtle flavors are subject to vapors tounge quicker than stronger flavors. BTW that Halo Tourque 56 you traded me turned out to be right up my alley. Ive ordered like 130 ml since then of it. Really like it, specially in a good bottom coil rebuildable like the taifun, kayfun, fogger, ect. Seems to shine in those. I ordered their Belgian Cocoa as well. It was ok. That other bottle I got from you by them, southern classic, on the other hand was god awful :) Ha, cant win em all. The tourque 56 was great though. Think ima try tribecca next.

As for alien vision juices some are good some are soso, all so far that ive tried arnt super strong but thats because most of their flavors are 100 percent vg, so tons of vapor lighter thoat hit/taste. The bobas bounty is the most popular for good reason. It really is the best, and worth the praise so if thats in your sampler go ahead and use it. I find it, unlike almost anything else, is better fresh.

Yeah, I've been gradually going through all the samples - most of them taste like wet air to me...

Hey Gary!!!! So glad u liked Torque. It is awesome. I had a major nic fit out of the blue before Christmas, went to fill a tank w/18 mg Torque and completely forgot I PIF'ed it. DUH! I haven't used 18 mg in a long time so forgot I got rid of them all, except I found a few Halo carts I had from when I first started w/18 mg Torque. Torque/Halo saved the day, again!

And sorry about the Southern Classic, heehehee. Ok don't mean to laugh, but there's a reason why I got rid of it and apparently you feel the same. Halo's Tribeca is worth a shot and if you like a calming nutty tobacco, Prime is good. Now if you like cinnamon, plum, grape..unusual and always changing, I'm a VOODOO freak!!!! Love that stuff.

The stuff I got from you has already been reordered several times except the cheesecake which actually I liked a lot to mix stuff with!!!! And I have tried other AVE and it's been so-so. But we were talking about in the threads above was AiV being subtle (Alice in Vapeland). And AiV sells a big sampler pack i guess. I didn't buy it, my friend did and gave me some samples I haven't tried yet but I need STRONG flavor, no shrinking violets for me so I have a feeling AiV will not be for me.

And Amanda, it's sounds like our taste profiles are VERY similar and if you get that "dead taste bud thing" a lot, I feel your pain sista!!! It's annoying as hell but better than full blown vapors tongue.

I'm very much like you Angie... if the flavor doesn't kick me in the head and slap me around, I could care less for it. I've had some success with some DIY of my own, but I seem to always gravitate back towards Halo and the other place I mentioned. I tried other places that offer custom blends, but even with extra flavor shots or what-have-you, the flavors were nowhere near as good as my two main vendors.

Ironically enough, perhaps my best DIY experience was making a Tribecca/ Prime15 like flavor, before I'd ever tasted them from Halo... now I just order Tribecca and Prime from Halo lol!

I applauded those who DIY and have success. I have no idea why I have no interest in doing it. I think its cause I have found flavors I love and it's too damn exciting getting vape mail! LOLOLOL My credit card bills tell me otherwise.

But ya, like you and Amanda it sounds like, the bolder the flavor, the better. But most real BOLD flavors are those I hate like black licorice, peppermint, menthol or too much cinnamon like fire ball or whatever. It's hard to find a bold blueberry cheesecake with vanilla and some crust without it being totally a fake taste.

I like a layered flavor too and not a "one note wonder". Like I don't want to vape just a blueberry or just an apple. I like a mixture, layers and all bold. Am I asking too much? LOLOLOL. I think that's why Voodoo has been my #1 flavor for nearly 5 months now. I get bold, different flavors always and never a dead taste bud thing with it.
