Hello i just got my GGTS earlier today and i seem to have broken the 2 o-rings for the center pin. I see that VK sells them but was wondering if i could find these at home depot or something as it would take Rob about a week to get these to me. Also it just says 2mm on his web site so is that all i need to know? Oh and how to install these if/when i get them? Thanks.

Welcome my friend Gouki to GG home:)

Those 2 o-rings have 2mm internal diameter and 1mm in width. Someone post a site for those o-rings but I dont remember now. I will tr to find and I will post it here. I also think that Rob will have them very soon

I checked out home depot today but they don't have that size. Rob does have the o-rings in stock but don't really feel like paying $15 shipping for something that cost a dollar. The GGTS is still working really good but i drip so i'm just concerned about liquid going into the battery compartment. I have some Ultrafire CR2 3V and LiFePO4 3.2 coming in to try out for 6V vaping but was wondering if anyone tried out LiFePO4 3.2V 16340 1000mah because these don't work for some reason. Thanks imeo.

GG is not like other mods that let liquid comes inside batteries because it has o-ring inside its connector, dont worry about this. Did you made a google search to see what you can find?

imeo,
Yeah, I think he is concerned it will leak inside if he doesnt REPLACE the o-rings that are damaged.

gouki,
If ya dont mind me asking, how did ya damage the o-rings that it came with?

-Tim

As i was changing atomizers (801 to 510) I pulled on the center pin too much and it came out. Not knowing there were any o-rings in there i put it back in and broke them. The GGTS still works flawlessly but since i only drip i have to clean it every night before i go to bed so the liquid doesn't build up. While waiting for my unit to arrive i watched Rob's videos about the GGTS so i do it where you pull the center pin down screw atomizer in then push center pin up. Unfortunately i pulled the whole pin out. Taking a look at Rob's store to see what else i can buy but i'm stocked up on atomizers atm (27 Regular 510 atomizers, 50 LR 510 atomizers, 50 510 cartomizers few 901's and 2 801's) so not sure what else to get lol.

oooh yes , I forgot that gouki damaged the o-rings, I forgot the purpose of this thread:D:D

Yes, this will happen soon or later Gouki. You have to buy those o-rings. Please make a google search but shipping will be always a pain.:)

Yeah i took a look online and found this but unfortunately they don't ship to canada and the specs say 4 mm OD so not sure those are them. The other places i found were for big orders only as they don't even give price just ask for quantity i need then send for price estimate. Looking at Rob's site tonight to see what else i can buy to offset the shipping. Anyone know a coupon code for VaporKings?

lol yeah i was eyeing those and the magnets are already in my cart. The fuse doesn't bring the voltage down for the batteries right? That is my only concern because even at 3.7V the GGTS pumps out alot of vapour.

It will lower it a little. But its good for protection... Look at my thread... i didnt have my post on my gg... the one with the fuse..:(

Sorry to hear you have a problem with your unit. I saw your post earlier but didn't know any solution so didn't post. Not sure yet about the fuse thingamajig as i mainly use protected batteries but maybe just make an impulse buy. With all these add ons i feel like i'm souping up my GGTS.

Yea, its the hot rod of esmoking! and worth it..

spring on the fuse has a very small resistance Gouki, about 0,1-0,2 ohms, so there is no drop of voltage that is noticeable:)

I did an improptu vape test when I received the fuse. Since I tend to vape using a 510 atty and protected 14500 batteries, it was important that the vapor production was sufficient. I did not notice a difference and prefer the fuse to the old setup.

Videos are the best proove for this, so lets see one:

YouTube - smoking with and without the fuse
