I havent seen any proof and if it is fact, profiting from someone else's demise so blatantly leaves little to be desired in my book...

The only way anyone will profit from their demise is that there is one less choice out there. We already have many ex Smoke51 customers before Smoke51 ever was "demised". The only reason we are happy is because they deserve the situation they are in. You want to know?

Here's two facts: 1: They gypped LoongTotem out of around $500,000 dollars. 2: They gypped us out of high five figures and had so much defective garbage that they sold to anyone and everyone that they couldn't handle it. Cloned themselves as GreenSmoke and couldn't ship a single atomizer cartridge for weeks and months at a time, all the time taking the money and telling stories. They burned the e-cig at both ends.

Call me what you want. We are two ex-LE's, straight as an arrow who got to love e-cigs and want to be in it. Honest and right.

I assume he is jealous that smoke51 is outselling him. If you look at the case file on esmoke dot net, it takes you to a stupid photographers website, who coincidentally lives in New Jersey with esmoke.

Smoke51 couldn't outsell an ice-man in the Tundra.

The fact they are doing this could mean that fifty-one is either going out of business and Loongtotem are stuck with them or they could be sourcing from another supplier.

In any case I PM'd a respected forum member (reliable reporter) here about this, weeks ago in confidence. Maybe he'll verify that. It's OK now, if you're watching you know who you are. Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. screwed Manufacturer A. Went to Manufacturer B and placed a huge order for some 5000 units. Paid XXXX in advance because of the Manufacturer A. Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. got put in the Customs Ban list. The order was confiscated by Customs in China and returned to Manufacturer B. Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. is trying to get their $115,000 back with no luck. Manufacturers A and B are re-selling the contents which they now consider overstock!

This is from a pretty reliable source in Shenzen.

Aside from the disposables already invested in, it could be the swan song for Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc.

I would like to say they got what they deserve in what goes around comes around, if this plays out - however... They put themselves in a position of not being trusted and no one wants to do business with them without advance payment by wire!!!! They (manufacturer) were totally unprotected and got sand-bagged.

Manufacturer A is hungry for new vendors because their Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. deals dried up and Manufacturer B is holding 5000+ units ready to go!!!! (unfortunately they are all branded S51 or GS)

Expecting: Revenge and Sabotage by Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc., across the industry accompanied by bankruptcy. Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. companies including GreenSmoke will go like dominos and the original union of Smoke Anywhere USA, Inc. and Smoking Everywhere will erupt into a major feud with a strong backlash (and positioning).

Rumor confirmed. Check Manufacturer A site and you will no longer see any reference to Smoke 51... the American Flag is also gone! More to come....

I'm closing this thread out now as it doesn't seem it can lead to any meaningful discussion at this time.

Ron, you have to understand that it is a tough position when one supplier starts a thread like this about another supplier. You may have some inside information here but if the members don't have the full story, then it just comes off as one supplier bashing another.

Even if a member came on and said company xyz is closing because they ticked off a lot of people....members want further information so they can fairly assess the situation themselves. Without that, it could just sound like a disgruntled customer trying to discredit a company they had a problem with. People want facts....not allegations that can't somehow be supported.

Anyhoo....with this closed...members can still read and draw their own conclusions. It doesn't seem any further contributions will be helpful to anyone at this point.
