I just started vaping in June last year and I I'm luvin it. Started TRYING to DIY around August-September. Wanted soooo badly to recreated a 'Watermelon Rancher' flavor from a local shop. I swear it's like slamming your face into the dark sweet tenderloin of the melon and just schlurpin away. Saw some posts that made it sound sooooo simple. Several posts said just Loranns Watermelon at 10% gave them a flavor described as exactly what I wanted. Got the concentrate mixed some up at every % imaginable from 5-30. Nuthin! Through that entire range everything had the same barely perceptible watermelon taste!
I have extremely limited time for this and took to cutting budget priced juice 50/50 and adjusting the nic. Pretty good deal to buy 120ml fer $20, make it 240ml and hardly notice the difference in flavor, cool.
Finally decided to pick a recipe and give SOMETHING another go. Eh, well it had flavor at least but not what I'd imagined.
Then I noticed some folks raving about OSDIY Blue Raspberry Slush as a standalone flavor and decided to give it a try. While I was there I decided grab some others that sounded like they'd work as standalones. Really pleased with what I got. Not impressed with the Blue Raspberry Slush... To much Slush, not enuf Berry but I can work on that. Several of the others are very good. Old Tyme Root Beer, Strawberry Milk (again light on the Berry but still tastey), Sweet Southern Tea (schlurp), Pink Lemonade. All very tastey enjoyable standalones.
Fiiiiinally I'm making some juice that's not just good enuf but actually quite pleasant and enjoyable.
Now I can enjoy those while I search for the recipe and concentrates that will get me my lush, sweet in my face watermelon juice. Or any melon actually.
I'm coming round the bend with my DIY and very happy about it.
