On my 901 the filler for the cartridges seems to disappear, especially when I use my passthrough. anyone else notice this? Is it melting?
The 901 filter material often starts to curl up into more of a ball. All you have to do is remove one 'melting' filter and one newly opened filter, straighten out the material a bit on a paper towel, and compare. Your eyes are better than our guesses.

If you're not sure what's going on, post a photo and we'll take a look at it. :)

Its probably melting on the atomizer...
What ecig have you heard of that does this?

Maybe i am being paranoid lol. I have a pen style on order with passthrough from bestecigs, apparently the atomizer does not get as hot. I just dont want to have gived up smoking only to have taken up something with dire health risks.

I do understand how you feel, I am a little paranoid about it myself...I don't worry too much about the vaporized juice...but for some reason I do worry quite a lot about the idea of inhaling 'any' burnt polyester type material. I suppose the tiny amounts couldn't possibly be worse than smoking tobacco but the worry is still there.

Looks like it just might need washed, dried, and filled up again. I'm still fairly new at this but after a week I noticed performance reducing. I took out the cart stuffing, washed it under very hot water in a small tea strainer, let it dry and it worked much better. Plus it looked new again. After so much liquid I thinks it gets gunky and compresses. Just my thoughts.

Flooding your atomiser isn't really a problem, you can just drain it but getting liquid in the battery isn't good, that can kill them. The skill with dripping is to learn how to keep the atomiser not too wet or dry. It takes a bit of practice but I think it's better than cartridges once you get good at it.
Thanks Kate and everyone who responded:)
