Filling carto tanks

Hi - I'm unfamiliar with that method 
. PBusardo has a good video on youtube about the "condom" method, that a lot of people use, I can't though, because I use flanged cartos in my tank. I use a modified version: upside down. I slowly put the carto into the condom top down, then flip it over until I see bubbles, and then until the bubbles are gone. I then "thermometer" shake it. I use XL sized cartos, so I may repeat this a couple of times. When a tiny bit of liquid comes out the bottom hole, I let it sit for awhile. I sometimes drip into the top to top it off. I also blot the bottom hole. I'm sure there is an easier way, but this works for me.

Only insert your cartomizer about 4 5ths into the tank and then drip your juice down into the tank at an angle until it's almost full, then push the cartomizer up through the rest of the way.
If you are talking about just filling a cartomizer, then use a blunt tip syringe. When you fill with a syringe, you saturate your cartomizer from the bottom up and you sort of force that juice into place and displace the air faster and more efficiently. Then you can top it off occasionally by just dripping in the filler form the top.

Basically, I fill the tank just about all the way and the. Cover the air hole on the bottom of the carto then just suck like a really, really thick (hey now) shake. That's how I was priming the smoktech cartos. Is that completely bassakwards.

Haha, no sucking required. If you search for Baditude's Blog posts, he's got a great tutorial on how to do it so that it works every time. It doesn't take long, and no sucking required. lol.
I use a variation of his method. I have some 18ga needle-syriges that I use to slide down the outside of the filler, basically between the wall and the filler. I gently push liquid in while slowly removing the needle. This way it dispenses liquid throughout. After this, I top off and thermometer-shake, per his method to finish up. Just saves more time.

You could use pbsuardo's or grimmgreen's "condom" method, followed by using a syringe to fully saturate the cotton if you have a thicker, vg juice, and then use the "slap yo momma" tool found at big daddy vapor, and fill it normally. The slap yo momma tool is not to be underestimated. It is a great buy, make sure you get the stainless version. Makes cleaning a lot easier.
