I just got my USA juices and I got cool carts to go with them. I'm having trouble filling them. The liquid doesn't want to sink in AT ALL. I used the taryn spin method, but only got half the amount of liquid I should have been able to get in the cart. When I put the liquid in it just sat there until I spun it and then I could see it at the bottom of the condom (it didn't come with the buttplug kind). Anyone else have this problem?

Coolcart blanks can be tough to fill the first time. The best way to do that is to use a syringe, and be patient (I will syringe about one-third of a ml into a new coolcart and let it sit 5 minutes or so; then syringe another third ml and let it sit; then inject the remaining third ml and let it sit for about twenty minutes (or more). Finally, if I have been able to let it sit overnight, I add a few more drops by "dripping" and then vape away! :)

Wow cartos are much easier to fill (looser polyfill), but I generally prefer Coolcarts, so I sympathize. I never Taryn spin (it isn't necessary when using a syringe).

HTH. Good luck! :)

(And yes, it gets MUCH easier after that first fill! :))

Skittish (sir or Ms.? Guessing Ms.) it's due the fact the usa juices are thicker than the the wow and premium lines (except the wow vg line, which is still the thickest). Lady Eleanor gave you same great advice. I've had luck using an 18 guage needle and cool carts without having to wait, but do check 3 or 4 times for overfill...

Skittish, WOW carts will probably absorb better, but it may just take a little longer...... drip 3 drops, absorb a few moments, "thermometer shake" a few times, let sit a bit, repeat. It might just take a little longer.

Another thing I've done is to take a pin or needle and insert it between the metal wall of the carto and the stuffing, down the inside wall in a couple places, and sort of separate the stuffing from the wall a little bit.....it allows the liquid to get down in there a little better.

Well I dont have a syringe and dont want one but i use coolcarts too and sometimes you just have to wait on the first couple drops with a thicker juice .Hold it at an angle ,put in about 3 drops and flick it on the side ,it will absorb ,or go away and let it sit .Once you get it a little wet ,it should be ok .I didnt have any trouble with the bandit berry after that :)

I don't have a syringe, so here's my solution! I use a skinny paperclip to poke holes into the filler and loosen it up a bit. I've also used a knitting needle and push pin in a pinch :) The other thing I do is take the tip of the paperclip, insert it down into the center tube, then gently squish the polyfill toward the sides. Make sure the carto is vertical so gravity helps, and also blow gently to clear any juice that might leak down the middle and dab the bottom with something absorbant; really saves the life of your batteries to keep juice out of them!

Skittish, I only use Cool Carts, and have been refilling with Bandit Berry all week, no problem. Holding the cart at an angle, I usually put about 5 drops, give it a good taryn spin, put 5-6 more, repeat spin. Usually get about 15 drops or so before I start getting excess in the condom. So, while everyone has good advice, you might want to give the Cool Carts some more consideration. IMHO ;-)

youtube search or google the "toothpick method" for filling carts. the other thing I have found works is to use a dental pick (the plastic ones) or toothpick to block the center tube and fill to the top with juice. Wait about 30 mins and the juice will be absorbed. Rinse the picks for reuse. It works best with plastic picks if you can find them. Biomoms tip of using a paperclip to squish the poly a little will also allow air back out of the poly easier and can be done with the toothpick as well. I recommend not pushing the pick in beyound halfway down the carto or you could potentially offset or damage the coil.

Personal story, just came to mind, probably of no use to anyone, definitely not targeting any of my friends who disagree here...

I'm a simple guy when it comes to vaping stuff. Bought pre-filled cartos, lots of them, for about nine months. Dripped for a few more. Finally, a year into vaping, gave the syringe a try. A piece of my vaping sweet spot fell into place. All syringe. All the time, baby.

+1 A syringe is a must have item, cartomizer can go through 30 ml of use before the atomizers die out.
