Filling Joye 510 cartos.. funny taste?

Hello allllll!
I recently started filling my own cartos and whatnot, and have had rockin' success with the old pre-filled cartos I used when I was using premiumecigarette.com stuff. I got my new Joye 510 kit in the mail yesterday (!!!) and tried filling some empty cartos I ordered with it using the fill-cap-and-dunk (technical name?) methods, and the pull-all-the-stuff-out-and-drip (is that just the drip method?) method with a couple different juices. However, when I vape them, they taste super weird.. not in a good way. Does anyone know what's going on? Is it probably just the carto or perhaps the juices? I've tried a couple different types, and they all taste the same.. the super weird, not in a good way. What's going on?

For me personally, I've always noted a funny taste in the cartos due to the filling in it. I ended up saying forget it and bought a 510 T Atty and blank 510 tanks for work and using the regular atty dripping with a drip tip at home. Hope that helps.

I'm a little lost as to what you have. To the best of my knowledge, a "carto" is a cartomizer, which is a cartridge and atomizer in one unit. You don't pull the filling out of those. A "cart" is a blank cartridge that you put into an atomizer. Which do you have?

The method you described for filling is for a cartomizer, but then you lost me talking about pulling stuff out. If you have a cartridge and atomizer, it sounds like you haven't blown the packing fluid out of the atomizer.

Cap and dunk...I think you are referring to the condom method.

Are you using cartomizers (makes your ecig a 2 piece device)?

I don't care for Joye cartomizers as the taste is different (off) to me.

Have you tried the juices in something else like an atomizer and cartridge? Does it taste the same or different?

"Cartos" being cartomizers. The juices taste funny in the new Joye 510 kit, period. They taste fine in my premiumecigarette kit, when I pull out the plastic mouthpiece and drip the juice in. With the Joye 510 I've tried the condom method and dripping straight into cartridges (that came in the kit.. I soaked the filling to remove what flavor it came with)
