Filling vs refilling carts - what did I do wrong?

Ok, so I'm looking for some input. I'm really new to vaping and am still going back and forth this week between vaping and smoking while trying to find the right "replacement". Anyway, I bought some cartridges from Vapure as well as some empty cartridges from them, along with a couple bottles of juice. So, I get it in the mail today and decide to try filling one of the empties. So, I follow the instructions, so far, so good and I'm all proud of myself because it goes well and I can blow through the cartridge so there's no extra juice in the line. Nothing is leaking,etc. Put that one down to rest for awhile. I then pull out a cartridge (also from Vapure) that I had used yesterday and couldn't seem to get any more vapor out of so I assumed it was done. I saved it because I want to try to refill the carts a couple of times before throwing them away. So, I do the same exact thing but all the liquid is just going right through it this time. Does that mean the cartridge really wasn't done, and it couldn't absorb all the liquid? I did the instructions the same exact way the second time so I can't figure out what I did wrong.

I agree with stosh. Those videos are great. They are the best way to learn when first getting into vaping. I had been vaping for almost 9 months when I found the videos and I watched them. I did know most of it and there were a few things I picked up. But most of all I know what is in the videos so I can refer others to watch them. they are well done and informative. You may want to take the time to watch them all just for the info even if you don't think you need to learn everything right now. it should give you some insite for the future.

Yeah, those are great videos, she did an excellent job at covering everything pretty well.

Sounds like you have cartos, not carts (some places that sell 2-piece PVs call them carts but they are cartos). Cartomizers screw onto the battery. Carts are just plastic and stuffing and they push onto an atomizer of a 3-part PV.

Cartos do burn out, especially if you run them dry. I'd be surprised if one died so quickly though. Did you make sure there is no juice residue on the threaded end of the carto that might prevent good contact with the battery?
