Hello Everyone

Im a 40 year old thats been smoking analogs since I was 13. tried to quit a few times over the years with the "standard ways" (patch, pills, lozenges..) none worked. My brother told me about e-cigs a few years ago but took me a couple of years before trying one.

I started off back in may 2011 with a Blu starter kit. worked ok, but I am a heavy vaper so I was changing
batteries 4 or 5 times a day. Did not like the automatic battery much either. I also went through 1 1/2 to 2 carts a
day. Thats when I learned about refilling carts. That turned out messy and not consistent. also tried different tanks,
most leaked or I ended up drinking juice.

A year later I bought a 1000mAh manual battery and a Hydra Cartomizer.
This worked much better, while the cartos worked. (again heavy vaper) burnt them out quickly. So would only use
this setup off and on. Almost stopped using e-cigs till this june (2013) when I (being a DIY person) looked into rebuilding
my hydras. Searched you-tube and found the info I needed. still with trial and error I rebuilt all 3 hydras. since then
(6-12-2013) have not touched a real cigarette! funny part is I did not plan on quitting, It just happened. vaping was
working so well I did not need analogs any more.

While I was searching you-tube I came across GrimmGreen (and Igetcha69) videos. Very helpful and entertaining.
I would look for mods (want to upgrade) and some thing easier to rebuild. So when I saw a product I would look on
you-tube for a review by Grimm or Igetcha69.

I finally picked the Tesla for my mod (still looking for a rebuildable tank/carto/atomizer, possibly AGA-t2)
Im on a fixed income, so I did a lot of online surveys to get the money to buy a Tesla kit. I ordered it 6/24/13.
cant wait for it to come in and try it out.

Congrats on making it 2 weeks. What an amazing feeling, is it not!

Finding the right setup for your needs is the hardest part about vaping but once you do it is much easier. My wife and I started with GreenSmoke (very similar to Blu) and quickly ended up with eGo Twist and Vision Spinner bats and Vision V3 Clearomizers. Cheap, easy, works awesome and best of all it keeps us off the analog habit. We don't even want them anymore!

Congrats again and Welcome to the ECF family

Thank you very much.

I do agree, finding the right setup is tricky. but once you do it make a hugh difference.

Now on to finding flavors hahaha

been using a mix of tobacco flavors mixed all together (plus any flavors I didnt care for by them self mixed in)
and just bought some "Dime Piece" tastes like peach tree schnapps
