This new mod from steamCrave looks really good to me. Good chipset , duel 21700 with an option for huge squonk upgrade when that comes availible, replaceable battery door.
I can't order this till I get my next paycheck (sad panda).
those that are using 21700 batts what would be a good brand to look for right now all my batts are 18650's ?

Samsung 30T, Samsung 40T are good batteries @Steve W Pedersen, Molicel is supposed to be good as well but I've never used them.

But I do use Samsung 30T's, no complaints whatsoever with them.

But here's a useful link for you, battery test results by @Mooch our own battery guru who campaigns for battery safety.

Hopefully you'll find it very useful, don't forget to bookmark it.

If you don't plan to go over 100W, the Samsung 40T is the 21700 of choice, because it performs very well and is readily available.
The Molicel P42A might perform a bit better in a regulated device, but it's a bit bigger as well, so it might not fit into your mod.

The Sanyo 2070C is a very good cell as well that doesn't perform noticeably worse in actual use than the 40T.
Being a 20700, you might want to double wrap it to eliminate battery rattle though.
But considering that the wraps on our cells are too thin anyways, being able to double wrap it with a second clear wrap is a big plus in my book.

For anything over 100W the 30T is hands down the best performing cell on the market.

it s astounding that so few mods have usb type C.

Being as the USB port is intended mostly for upgrading and the rare case you may have no other option than to charge the batteries in the mod when you don't have access to a proper external charger. It is not intended for daily charging, so a micro works just fine for it's intended purpose.

real Life was a pita for a while, Only now have pulled the trigger, Steam Crave greed bit me hard. Spent 268 bux ordered the hadron 220 , lots of spares for my titan (since that is going eol), more spares for the + v1 and the v2, all the new decks for the +, 8ml extention for the +v2 , the new + v2 kit and a few other bits and pieces. Wish the new squonk backpack was orderable I would have preordered that too.

I just vape in wattage.

I've played with TC mode on all the mods I own. Some are good and others seem to have iffy firmware that just doesn't produce a good TC vape, so I revert to power mode. One exception is the Pico 21700. TC mode on the 21700 just works. It's one of the few mods that I enjoy vaping in TC mode.

That said, the Hadron looks like a well designed mod.

All of my goodies finally showed up :) yay.
The hadron in really good, it gives the best vape I have experienced yet. The feeling was surprising so much so that I pulled out a few of my older mods and using the same tank did some a/b testing.
So what is the difference, in the vape the word I want to use is density and consistency.
power delivery just feels better. ex on a mod I had been using I was vaping at 110w , with the hadron I am using 92w and the vape is more dense smoother and the flavor is a tad more intense.
the batteries I am using temporarily are vtc6a's (I am waiting on 6 T40's from imr battery)
It is a heaver than some of my other mods and lighter than an old smok mag I have laying around.
It's about 2 8th's taller than the topside squonk.
I have small hands for a guy so it feels big in hand but is not a problem for me, however I think it would be an issue for some women to handle.
overall construction is metal and feels vary sturdy this thing is not something you need to worry about if you drop it other than worrying about the glass in your tank.
I will be setting up my aromanzer+ V2 in a few days and I will be useing SS coils to do some tc testing and will report back on that.
