This is a VV I made a couple days ago, my 12th VV. I guess I am kind of obsessed with mods now. I'm excited with this one because I don't plow through batteries twice a day. It's based off of bigblue's ever cool. This thing is great: the batteries last 3 full days!

I love and appreciate people like you that have the talent and creativity to bring something like this to life! You should turn your passion into a business! Congratulations, and enjoy!

Solid piece of work Hottody:)...IMO nothing kills talent and creativity better than turning it into a business:D...if I start getting frustrated with a particular mod but just plough through just to get it done I start getting sloppy, cut corners...stops being fun, starts to feel like work:(

What's wrong with hot glue?...I use it all the time, I mean it has it's place, especially to tack pieces in place till a permanent attachment method is employed on a proven concept...when I sit down at my workbench, 1st thing I do is plug in my soldering iron and my hot glue gun...it's not about being a purist, it's about being practical...and if you have an old soldering iron with a cutter tip, it's a lot more "undoable" than other methods

It looks like a great mod. Did you ever think of putting a voltmeter in it?

Appreciate that. I just ran out of voltmeters and have some on order. I used this size case so I can easily add the voltmeter when they get here. I probably should've been patient and waited for the meters to get here, but I caught mod fever and had to make it!

You're absolutely right, hot glue has it's place and so many uses in our prototypes. I wanted to keep this mod clean because I am going to add to it.
