After finally deciding enough is enough of smoking, I picked up a V2 ecig at the gas station. That was good enough to get me through the day, until I could get to a real B & M after work. Luckily, there's one in my town and he was a wealth of information! He, and other customers, schooled me proper! I bought a Vision twister and EVOD starter and four juices (one was free with the kit). After leaving, I drove about 1/2 way home and decided to lose the crutch. I tossed 1/2 a pack into the weeds. I normally abhor littering, but I wanted these gone for good. It's only been one day, but I don't miss smoking as long as I have an alternative. Please be patient if/when I. Ask a ton of questions in the future :)

Well done, congratulations! :toast: And welcome to ECF! This is the one and only time I will condone littering, lol. You can always go back and trash them again when you feel more confident (and the birds, ants and other critters and done salvaging). It's a bit mind-bending to know you've actually quit smoking for good isn't it? I still find it weird, in a very good way, to have been done with them for six months. Keep it up! :)

Welcome to ecf. Congrats.

I was truly amazed at how easy the transistion was for me. I smoked 3-4 packs a day for almost 40 yrs. I was determined tho, and back when I started Blu and Safesmoke were the ones I started with. We didn't have the b&m's to go and try things out, well cause they weren't invented yet. LOL. And that was only three years ago. For the first year I sometimes had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming cause I couldn't believe I was free from the grips of those stinkie analogs. What a relief. And it only gets better and better. Your taste buds will come back again, your sense of smell will return, you will breathe better(after you cough up the gunk that years of smoking did to your body).
I never get tired of welcoming new vapers here and at vape meets, or just at the grocery store. The look on their faces when they take their first toke off an ecig and realizing that this will actually work is priceless.

So good luck on your journey, ask all the questions you need to and some of them twice.

happy vaping.
:)

...oh cripes........ that caught me off guard, my nose just got a good snort of coffee!!!!

All most got me too. But I've learned not to be drinking and reading at the same time. That is one way of keeping your monitor clean tho. Can't tell you the number of times(after laughing till it hurts) that I had to do just that---clean my monitor...(computer screen)

LOL
