8 wraps GPlat26 on CelluCotton. Skeptical about the wire and cotton but it's tasting great and chuckin' clouds on the RM2 Grand. Anyone had the opportunity to try this stuff? Opinions?

I tried CC rayon and still have about 499 feet of it. I just like KGD so much that there's really no reason for me to switch to a media that I found to be so much more finicky to duplicate a perfect wick. With KGD, it's easy. Too easy.

And I don't want a long lasting wick. I change mine once a week for sanitary purposes so nuclear wicks mean nothing to this kid. What does is simplicity, duplicability and production. KGD offers all of the above.

As for wires sold by money grubbing vape supply peddling wh ores, no thanks. It's just wire. 5 to 9 dollars for 100 feet of Kanthal A1 is all I need to produce a setup that'd knock even the most sporting of vapers d ick in the dirt.

I absolutely LOATHE the supply wh ores ripping off vapers by putting fancy names on over the counter stuff and selling it for exponentially more $$ than you can buy the same stuff from non vape retailers.

May Those wh ores and the duchebag reviewers who put their products over unknowingly consume lobster bisque and clum chowder laced with the seed of dozens of waiters and rave to each other about just how good it tasted. :)

Here is my opinion on beauty supply wick material you asked for opinions:) Copied and pasted from another place:

"Off topic....may I share my thoughts on beauty supply wick material? <-----rhetorical question

I've been very reluctant to try this mainly because of concerns of molecular composition and just because some dude on a forum says it is safe doesn't ease my mind.

Another very nice ECF member sent me some to try. So, I figured that one day of using it wasn't going to kill me so I sucked it up and went for it.

I used it all day yesterday. I used it with 28ga kanthal at .8Ω at about 20 watts on a hornet with my most flavorful and favorite juice.

I tried it with short tails, long tails, thick wick, thin wick, high coil, low coil, wick upside down and right side up <--J/K

I didn't get more flavor than KGD (even perceived a little less flavor). I didn't get more vapor than KGD. I didn't get a "cleaner" flavor than KGD. I did notice that ray is a more robust material in that it doesn't discolor from the heat nearly as much as cotton and will last much longer than cotton. Which is irrelevant to me because as soon as a coil gets crusty gunt, that wick is outta' there and the coil is dry burned and used for only one more (maybe two) time.

All this combined with the fact that no one really knows what lurks deep down at the molecular level of ray, I'm gonna stick with KGD until someone (science types) comes up with a definitive thumbs up because here's what I do know (or at least think I know) about KGD; it is not bleached and processed with chemicals, it is not raised with pesticides, herbicides or defoliants. It may or may not have some nasty chems but my gut feeling is that it doesn't. My gut doesn't feel the same about ray (nor silica for that matter).

Yes, yes I know that we smoked cigs with gawd awful stuff in them for years and that the air we breath is contaminated and that everything under the sun causes the big C and that the juice that we use poses it's own set of concerns...yada,,,,yada,,, but I don't want to go backwards.

Bottom line for me is, meh. I don't get the hype.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ YMM/Prolly doesV

I don't mean to start a debate....just my :2c: . I probably should have posted this in a different forum but I don't love them like I love ya'll.;)"
