lp reo rm3 help

So it finally came. LP Reo Grand, RM2 and RM3. Built and installed dual 8 wrap 1/16 on the RM3. Went to screw it onto the Grand but it won't screw in all the way and won't fire. I thought the RM3 would fit both Grand and LP Grands. Tried the RM2 and it fits nicely. Any suggestions? Guess I won't be able to try it before the night is over. Gotta go to sleep. Now I have to wait till at least tomorrow

Hmmm... it's not screwing in enough. The RM3 on my LP grand sits flush with the catch cup, not raised, and fires fine.

Prolly some chunkiness in the atty threads if the RM2 connects okay. The fix? Not sure, and I'd hate to advise you to twist harder only to strip your threads.

PM'ing Rob for advice is never a bad idea, though.
