Hey everyone. First post on this awesome forum.

I'm 27 and been smoking analogs since around 11. Had my first at 8 and gradually progressed to full time smoker at age 11.

Last month I was smoking a pack and a half a day with not much incentive to quit( I like smoking). Today I am down to one or two cigs a day. One when I wake up and one before bed, only if I really want it. All thanks to vaping.

I plan to be smoke free by next month and my Kamry X6 mod and all of you on this forum solidify my confidence that I will achieve my goal.

Thanks to you all on this forum filled of knowledge I'm already rebuilding atomizers and learning more every day.

I'm vaping happy

Welcome Aboard!
First at 8! Wow man! You sure are an early starter... I started at 12 myself.
Getting down to just a few a day is an accomplishment in itself! Bet you never thought you would be able to achieve such a thing, did you?
The Kamry X6 is a fine device to get started with.
Good luck with the transition... I'm sure I'll run into you somewhere in the forum.

Hi hodges and welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. Glad you joined ECF and will be participating in our community. Congrats on cutting WAY back on analogs. I believe you will be smoke free pretty darned soon. If it is next month, that is great, but if not, remember to count the ones you don's smoke, not the ones you do. Everyone's path is different and cutting out 23 analogs a day is a HUGE accomplishment.

I hope your vaping journey continues to grow and that you find the gear and the flavors that will continue to work for you. Sounds like you are off to a great start and are learning at a pretty fast pace. Fantastic.

Keep sharing your experience because it gives others hope that vaping can be a replacement for analogs. And that we can enjoy it way more than we enjoyed smoking. Your enthusiasm is contagious and I really do enjoy hearing success stories.

Keep the vape and namaste.

I was just thinking...it's a good thing we check ID?!?! I don't even think you could fake it at 8 years old. Hahaha.

Congrats on cutting down. You'll be surprised how easy it is. When those cravings hit, just vape, vape vape! Couple minutes later, you'll be doing something else and it'll be an afterthought you wanted a smoke! After a couple weeks or so, the quakes will be minor and almost non-existent.

Good luck on your journey! Welcome to ECF!

Welcome and congratulations. I myself just hit the 24 hour mark without a cigarette. I won't lie and say I don't want one, but my KFL+ is keeping me from lighting up. It's not as hard as I thought it might be. I've been smoking for 30 years, enough is enough. For those of you who quit lifelong habits, how long was it before you started feeling better? I can't run 50 yards now without feeling like my lungs are on fire and will explode. I want to be active without feeling like I'm going to die.
