Well after a long time (1.5 years +) of trying to find just the right cartomizer and the perfect voltage ... and dealing with starting at 4.2v and eventually vaping at 3.5, or starting at 8.4 and ending at 7.0v ...

A story you've heard a thousand times. Said screw it and ponied up for a new provari v2 and a 18650 2000mah

Already have a couple AW IMR 1600mah 18650's (red) and a charger for roughstack

e-go w/ atomizers -> e-go w/ cartomizers -> ego-T batteries

roughstack from MadVapes which I've been very happy with, but grew tired of non-regulated output and going through the same thing. Buy a batch of 10 of the exact same carto and first cart starts vaping like mad scorching hot and ends up perfect, second carto starts off perfect and by the time voltage drops it's weak and nasty.

Will keep RS for backup though, still a solid unit.

Ordered today, already got shipping notification.

Thought about a modbox from MadVapes which I hear can be awesome, but decided to go the polished route and try the PV

HERE!!!

Had a charged up AW IMR 1600 waiting. Cautiously checked voltage w/ meter to be sure, 4.22v reading.

Checked manual, setup smoktech tank, set to 4.2 then bumped to 4.5v

Working good ... except ST tank sits too close to ring and no air flow, had to use spacer/extension looks kinda goofy.

Gonna need to bust out the low nic juice soon!
