As you may have read in some of my previous posts I have been vaping for about 2 months but still smoking 1-3 analogs a day. Well I finally found the inspiration to go completely analog free, Thank You ECF'ers. My sig reflects within about an hour or so how long I have been 100% tobacco free. I can't believe how much better I am starting to feel. The urges are getting a lot weaker too and I even went out to the smoke pit with class mates and wasn't even tempted. I did have to stand up wind though to avoid the smoke. :vapor:

Congrats, I quit the day my blu cig arrived, I have advanced to the 510 now, moving up in the world some would say. I was smoking for 20 years at 2 packs a day. I have been tobacco free now for 10 days, actually 11 now its a new day here in Ohio.
I don't have the slightest urge to have a tobacco cig, just got tired of the ashes, smell, taste and the price, $6 pack here in Ohio. Thats why now that I'm vapping I never buy a tobacco flavored e juice. Just my preference. I'm actually enjoying this nicotine buzz!!

I've found that after four days it seems to get a lot easier. Small pain, enormous gain. Treat yourself to a new flavor or two to celebrate. (As if we really need an excuse!!)

Ya I've definitely done that I just got a big order from freedomsmokeusa 10X 30ml bottles today. Some really tasty stuff

most-wanted - I would be at 59 days smoke free if I had quit that fast. Took me almost 2 months to ween myself off. I finally feel like I am free of them. I did smoke A LOT less those 2 months though.

Mikecup - Ya they are about $6 a pack here too, well anywhere from $5-7 for most brands so average is about 6

Congrats Denrock , always nice to see another person off the evil cigarettes. Going to get easier as time goes by. Just wait till you get your taste buds and smelling back to normal makes it even better to be smoke free .

Ya I'm getting them back but not anywhere near normal. It's really weird some food taste really strong that probably shouldn't I think I got some brand new taste buds with no tar on them and my brain isn't used to that. Also I walked my dog just a ittle bit ago and I noticed I was smelling things that I hadn't in years. It's really weird but nice at the same time. I'm also starting to get the vivid dreams like I did years ago when I quit with the patch for 3 months. (I think this was around 1999).

I noticed I was smelling things that I hadn't in years. It's really weird but nice at the same time.

my roommate's dog ate some of her own crap the other night (which she tries to do when we aren't watching) and for the first time i smelled it when she breathed on me. that's one reason i'm not glad that i can smell stuff much better now.

you can smell a lot of nice things better, but those nasty smells also sneak in there now.

Congratulations! I went analog-free when I received my kit and began feeling awesome within days. Sadly, I had to go back a few days later, because I stupidly didn't buy extra cartomizers or juice. Silly me! So I was on analogs until I finally got paid, ordered a bunch of supplies, now I should be fine at least until I get paid, again. Smoked my last analog earlier today, and I'm really excited to start feeling better, again.

Yeah ciggies...loved everything about them, the only problem was I hated everything about them. It's tough battling years of patterning and you are going through the toughest time period...the first 2 weeks. I found the mornings were difficult and for some strange reason for those first 2 weeks I always had a lighter in my pocket. I would also jump into the car and feel like I was forgetting something.

Once you get over the hump and silence the voices in your head, then it becomes, "Well, I made it a week, let's see if I can go 2 weeks, hmmm 2 weeks wonder if I can make it a month?" After a month you'll find almost all those little triggers are gone along with your lighter thumb callus and most of the smoker stains on your teeth.

Hang in there, everyday is a challenge!

I got my eGo kit on Saturday and I had 10 analogs left in my pack. I smoked my last one out of my pack on Tuesday morning and bummed one from my husband around three that afternoon. It was nasty and I won't be doing that again. At this point I'm almost 48 hours analog free and can't wait for our next shipment of flavors and goodies to come in. My sense of smell is definitely changing and hoping that it gets even better.

Great job to everyone, keep it up!
