Gotta run out for a few but will reply soon....real quick tho, ShogaNinja, I am already set on the twist in a few week, just didnt want to overwhelm myself at first, did almost buy one to start tho after all the posts and deciding I didn't abosutely HAVE to have an anolog look alike (almost got a volt), think for the first few weeks KGO will be good, then Twist. I know I need more than a small batt to get me off smoking. Thx for the wealth of info, I'll read more carefully when I return.

you won't go wrong, i did the same thing, started with the trusty KGO, and bought a twist a week later after i got used to it, i still use both, the biggest thing to get used to though: the size difference.

example:

for reference the twist is the one on the left....the gargantuan is about an inch longer, and slightly heavier (but barely noticeable weight wise) but once you get used to that, the VV thing really isn't that hard...you find a setting that works for you and your equipment at that moment (kinda like the sleep number bed, but more awesome)

LOL! Nice! What all do you have on your kGo?

well generally, going to work, i use this set up:

IMAG0018.jpg

pictured is the KGO, a smoktech dual coil cartomizer tank, with the inner carto being a 1.5 ohm low resistance dual coil carto, the piece between the tank and the battery is the thread adapter to hide the threads and makes my KGO look better (not like a lamp post) and to top it off i crown it with my smoktech stainless steel ming-style drip tip...i generally roll out to work with the KGO as opposed to the eGo for its compact size, and just incase the twist bottom, well twists, i would rather have the stability of knowing i'm going to have consistant vape....i'm also waiting on the metal version of the smoktech dual coil tank, which will eliminate the disparity i have in color on this set up

You chose well. I have a KGO too, and up until very recently when the EGO Twist came out I recommended them and only them to beginners. The KGO will last you for a couple years if you treat it right. The EGO Twist, even at 1000mah dies like a dog when you vape it at max, so having the KGO will be invaluable as a secondary device. This idea that everyone needs variable voltage is silly. A low resistance atomizer on a low voltage device is pretty much the same as a higher resistance atomizer on a high voltage device. The only thing that's different is the amount of heat that comes with it.

Shoga... Brent @ Hoosierecigs is a registered supplier on ECF. I don't know why you continue to bash him. If you have such a problem with him maybe you should confront him not us. I have never had a problem with anything from him or his company.

I'm not here to argue with you. I don't go around spreading disinformation. I spread the truth. Otherwise I wouldn't have as many friends and likes as I do.

A registered supplier doesn't mean he's a member on this forum... It just means that they are verified in that they won't rip you off when you order from them. In fact it says: "These forums are run by Suppliers whose customer service standards we monitor carefully." Forum Suppliers - Sortable List Here is the sortable list of registered suppliers, funny I don't see hoosier on this list... Nor do I see him in this list: Forum Suppliers List. Furthermore a little search over in the Vendor Reviews - Negative popped up 3 disturbing results, one of which was a total ripoff. The other just verifies exactly what I said before, that Brent sucks at customer service. See for yourself: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/search.php?searchid=11760219 Now, as a good little Libra I also checked the Positive reviews and there were many of them. Almost all of them had to do with how he does business (pricing, rapid shipping, product availability) and there was like 2 of them that said he answered their newbie questions and helped them out. It makes me wonder why his attitude was different for me. I treated him very respectfully. I wasn't being a jerk that warranted escalation.

Try and ask him some questions and see how rude he is to you and get back with me on that. The dude's busy, I get that, but in my experience and a few others as well, he's also not great with customer service. I used to have a customer service job back when I was a lad and the first thing you learn is that the customer comes first. He must have been absent they day that they taught that. Now I am a small business owner and if I treated my customers the way he treated me that day I called him, I'd be out of business. Brent acts like he created the KGO, just watch his videos on YouTube. The dude's combative, and yes, angering your customers is a great way to let the bad word spread. It's bad for business and it is to be avoided by any means necessary. So now he pays the price, and for what? A couple of saved seconds on the phone? A quick and valid email response? Maybe he had some bad days, I don't know, I don't care. Clearly though, I am not alone in my opinion. No I am not ever going to call him again or do business with him. I deal with Altsmoke now, who is #1 one on the list btw, and that's who I recommend everyone else do business with whenever possible. I had a problem with my order and they sent me a duplicate of that order for free. Yeah, it took a couple weeks but they dealt with it like men.

Shoga - I emailed Brent @ Hoosierecigs at least 3 times before placing my order - and he replied with valuable information - i know nothing about the KGO and what to use with it. As a matter of fact, my last message to him about 8 different cartos/tanks etc - and also about 100% Vg juice. He has been very polite with me. This is not to say he has been rude with other ppl - just my experience......

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone here...but we aren't here to flame each others view on one supplier...the way I see it...if I have a problem with a supplier once...I won't use them again if they don't work to fix it or give me a hard time about it...I haven't had that experience with hoosier...I know its inevitable though that he will piss someone off...it's the nature of owning a business...if shoga does not like using hoosier...he has his reasons...respect it and move on...no need to push buttons and turn this into a troll thread....just my opinion
