I love seeing people successfully get of the cigs and especially someone that smoked 3 packs a day! wow! You should be extremely proud of yourself! I have seen you posting for awhile as you were cutting down and I'm so happy you finally made it cig-free! :) I've been vaping since June 8, 2011, and I'm still amazed life is good after cigs and without cigs. I never thought I'd be happy if I couldn't have my cigs. And what's even harder for me to believe is how much better I prefer ecigs over regular cigs. They are a miracle and I really wish they had been around years ago for me.

Thankyou so much for the answers to the analog mystery Ha Yes I agree they should be called stinkies They built a gas station next to my house and all the people stop there to smoke! When I go outside now its over whelming the smell makes me want to puke! I have to run back in the house :) On day 11 now I even got my oldest daughter started on the ecig and my son in law! I hope we all can keep those stinkies out of our lives. Thanks again and Have a great day fellow Vapers

Congrats bcalvanese I'm down to bout 1 every other week, and every time it reminds me why I stopped after having started using an ecig

LOL! Ya, that was me. I sort of tapered down as I went, not that I was limiting myself, just that I liked vaping better!

Went for 2 or 3 weeks without a smoke. A friend stopped by, and forgot a pack of Newports on my kitchen table. I thought, eh, I've done so well, I "deserve" a real smoke right? (funny, that thought process). So, I grabbed one, lit it up, ugh. 2 drags. Tossed that sucker right out. It took me over 3 hours vaping like a fool and downing iced tea to get that taste out of my mouth!!

Even though it's only been a short time with cigs for me, I still can't believe I ever enjoyed that taste!!

Congrats and great work to ALL who have either quit, or cut back! Both are big accomplishments!!!

wtg, took me a couple of weeks, i was about a pack a day smoker. I started buying lights b/c in my mind those a not "real cigarettes" then i started buying menthol lights, which IMO are awful, oh and cheap gross menthol lights. And this is a great example of showing that it takes time! For me I had to keep reminding myself that vaping tastes so much better!!

Congratulations... I smoked and vaped for a while. I'd go maybe a few days, then smoke a few, than go a few days without one. I finally converted completely when I was able to resist for a few weeks and my last cigarette made me puke. At 11 days, you're pretty much home free as far as a cigarette ever satisfying you again.
