And now I see what all the fuss is about. Juices I can't stand that taste meh and flat in my minipro2 taste AMAZING in here. Now I'm kicking myself for holding off on my rda because I didn't feel confident enough to build yet. I watched some videos of rda building and I was all: "I can do that!" I think I'll solely drip until my organic cotton and my wire show up because that silica is killing my fruit flavors dead. If you are a total newb like me and you've been hesitant to try dripping you should go for it, because this is a game changer for me.

I was the same way. Well, juices I liked were like WOOOOAHHH way over-powering to me all of a sudden. It's a difference for sure. I think some juices are made to be dripped and others I love throw n go in my nautilus
I knew before opening this thread that it was going to be some form of "Mind=blown"
I just got some I think it would be the disposable starter model attys on the Zamplebox site to see if I liked it before I bought some real gear. It's the only one they sell (can't link yet new member) so it should be easy to find if you want to see it. The one I'm going to buy as my first keeper is the IGO L, I looked at some vids and it looks like a good one to learn to build on. I haven't ever built anything for vaping so I'd like to keep it simple for now.
That one is decent. One with holes in the posts would be a bit easier to build on, but it isn't that big of a deal.
Now....get a Kayfun Lite.....you will thank yourself. I love my drippers but a close second (and they have tanks!) are my Kayfuns.
If you'd like to make a suggestion I'm all ears, totally new and I won't say no to some pointers
I was able to try it on the cheap without committing to building or $$$, all I had to do was put it on and drip. I'm a newb so I'm not ready to advise but if you take the plunge you won't regret it. I have expensive juice everyone loves and I just thought they were gross, turned out they are super yummy.
snowdonia, do yourself a favor if you are going to buy a dripper get one that has adjustable air flow and can run either single or dual coil. You can pick one up (clone) for around $23 and it will give you options.
As you start to gain more confidence building the RDA will still be a good fit.
I only mention the atomic because it's a decent RDA, good flavor and a nice price point.

I'm kind of scared to make that jump because of clones. I'm told some clones are a hit and some are a big miss as to quality. I want to be putting aside money for mod stuff (trying to figure out which one is right for me) so there is no way I can afford the real deal. If you know of a good clone I'm all ears.
My son doesn't vape or smoke, but he is interested in electronic gadgets. I told him he needs to build me some coils. If I can get him interested in fiddling with my vaping stuff, then he could teach me how to do it.

Thanks for the advice! I'm one of those vapers who spends more on vaping than I ever did on smoking so I want it all!
I watched you tube videos by Ruby Roo to see how to start and it was pretty basic to me, I like learning curve videos because I'm not used to the terminology yet. I was surprised by how easy it was/looked. If I can fix my roof I can do that.
The IGO-L is a good choice to start with because it's easy to build and it can handle a good amount of drips. The IGO- L was my first rebuildable,but I still love my 510 & 306 's ( which was all they had when I started vaping). Be sure to check your resistance on an Ohm meter or Mod (Vamo etc.) Good Luck and Welcome to the wonderful world of Dripping.
I haven't been ballsy enough to build a coil for my IGO-M since I got my VTR. With the adaptor I can use it with the VTR though apparently. Think its worth the time?
