Finally found my way home.

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums but not to the Vap community. I started of with a basic ego and kind of got lost in the dislike for it. So I fell back to cigarettes. But here I am determined to keep it going now with better equipment. So. I jump straight to a modd and went with the nemesis clone with a kayfun lite v2 and there is no looking back.:2cool::vapor:

Congrats, SavageWayz on finding your own vaping bliss. :)

I'm not from Texas, but as a Georgian, I can welcome you as a fellow southerner. (We do consider Texas to be "in the south" along with us, after all.)

Vaping preferences, both hardware and software, are different for everyone. My story has become especially odd. I recently bought a really nice Kayfun 3.1 clone (HCigar) to use on my six-week-old eVic Supreme. Gorgeous mod, the Supreme. Built like a tank, but with the quality of a Maybach.

([OT] I just learned, in fact, that Maybach actually produced at least one model of battlefield iron. The T3 Panzer III medium tank.[/OT])

Anyway - I mounted my coil in the Kayfun, assembled it, filled it, screwed it onto the Maybach - er, I mean the eVic Supreme - and vaped it. It vapes very nicely, as many here already know.

But... Recently I've found myself reaching for my SLB eGo-V V3 Mega / Protank 3 more often than my Supreme / Kayfun. I don't know why. I just prefer the eGo-V/PT3.

There are several reasons... It's MUCH lighter than the Sup/KF, for one. Like the difference between picking up a Sabot round and a model airplane. The lightly rubberized finish on the eGo-V feels good to hold. And the balance between the eGo-V and Protank has come to feel really good to me.

The fatter-than-normal eGo-V Mega with the Protank 3 screwed onto it with the "beauty ring" in between is a pleasing overall shape and size to me. When I'm sitting, I hold it up in my right hand like a king would hold a short scepter. It has a look of class to it, in my opinion. I use a black Delrin drip tip (I hate metal tips) on the PT3, which also happens to make it look really good with the black finish of the eGo-V. Like they were made for each other.

Now, I really don't care about "looking cool" when I'm vaping. OK, OK, I like to look cool when I'm vaping. Who doesn't? And the eGo-V/PT3 looks really cool to me. And it feels fancy in my hand. It's light enough that sometimes I spin it around like a drummer spins a drumstick. Not as fast or as fancy as a drummer would do it, but sort of the same way.

And, most importantly ... OK, you Kayfun fans get your guns ready ... I like the way the eGo-V/PT3 vapes just a little better than the Kayfun/Supreme. Blasphemy, I know. But it's the truth, and I refuse to lie to my ECF friends, even to avoid being stoned or exiled for preferring a Protank to a Kayfun.

So there, I said it. My dream rig seems to be an SLB eGo-V V3 Mega and a Kangertech Protank 3 BDC. I set the eGo to 10.0w, and the Protank delivers the vapor from my beloved electric juice just the way I like it the most. Weird, huh?

:)

Oh, also - SavageWayz, be careful over there in Kosovo. And thank you for serving for us. :thumb:

Welcome back bro! Its been a battle for me too, but finding good gear and most of all good juice have made all the difference. I'd been a smoker for over half my life and it wasn't easy to part with analogs, especially after a few beers. But with BBQ season in full swing I'm still vaping away, beer in hand :toast: I think I was just so determined that I kept trying, and now I find I've completely lost the taste for cigs altogether. That's huge for me. Best of luck to you, and happy vaping!
