Much like all the other posts on here, mine will also start off saying I was a pack and a half to two pack a day smoker for almost 20 years. A couple of years ago when i first saw e-cigs introduced, I thought it was some sort of gimmick, and really did not pay them any attention and continued day in and day out smoking analog cigs.

Every time the price of cigs would jump I would say the next time they go up I am quitting... many years later I was still smoking pack, after pack, after pack. Sure I had tried quitting, but it obviously was never a permanent thing. Eventually tobacco found it's way back to me, or in reality, that is backwards... I kept running back to cigarettes.

About 5 months ago I decided to take another look at e-cigs after seeing a video on youtube. I did a bunch of research and lurked on numerous websites and forums. 2 months ago I decided to give them a try and picked up an eGo kit. I continued to struggle attempting to find the solution that was satisfying and would let me completely quit the analog cigarettes. I tried cartos, atomizers, and different jucies, but nothing seemed right. I decided to go to Philly VapeFest, and while there I was able to try many different jucies, atomizers, and mods. Friday the 26th of March on the way home from VapeFest, I had my last analog cigarette and have been only vaping ever since.

I guess the real intent of my long winded post was to essentially thank each and every one in this wonderful community of vapers. It is due to your support and advice, both direct and indirect through PM's, video reviews, and online TV shows that I have been able to quit cigarettes and not look back.

Thanks again to a wonderful community of people so willing to help lend a hand at saving someones life!

Awesome!! Im very curious, what ended up being your dream set-up that helped you stop analogs? Mod/cart/atty/voltage/juice/etc?

I still use my eGo with a LR 306 which I drip on. I also picked up some 901's with the empire dripsheild for driving since I can load more juice and it gets me through the ride. Lastly I also picked up a Helix and eGo passthrough for at home, and occasionally on the go. Love the battery life of the Helix. Also have an Alpha arriving tomorrow for on the go mod, and will hopefully be getting a reo grand soon too.

For juice I am still finding all the ones I like. Taste is still messed up a little from smoking for so many years, but it as well as sense of smell is getting better every day. I like a menthol tobacco which I got a couple regular ones I go to from madvapes and backwoods brew. I also just got BlueMists "Smooth" juice in today in the mail as M.boro Smooths were my analog of choice. So far the bluemist is pretty good, but I also want to try Gourmet Vapors and so many others. Until my taste buds are completely back in check I don't want to pass on some jucies that i might like as my taste gets better. Lol

Good deal! I love dripping, but it can be a pain... I liked an ego with an lr306... but I LOVE ikenvape high voltage 306s at 6v... my vape of choice when I can, otherwise I use a cart for on-the-go. Reo makes nice boxes... never used a bottom feeder, but if it works like its supposed to, thatd be the perfect set up. If you like menthol, try to get your hands on some Joker's blend from Backwoods. Don usually lets everyone know (on his site backwoodsbrew.net) when itll be available and it sells out realllly quickly. Amazing menthol vape. I smoked Marlboro Menthols for years. Have fun!!
