I just got a an older model of a GG for free from a buddy who has been a long time vapor.

This is my first GG mod, so of course I have tons of questions and was wondering if anyone could give a noob like me some advice. I never used a telescope mod either.

I mainly have questions about the batteries. Could anyone direct me to some information on stacking batteries and what I should and shouldn't do?

Right now I'm using ONE AW MR 18350 3.7V 700mAh and it's great, could use a little more kick though.. I tried to stack TWO of them and it was QUITE intense. Not sure if my CE2 bottom coils could handle it, I just got a burn taste.

Thanks :D

Much love to the ECF forums, and it's great to be back!:vapor:

I am not really experienced in the CEx (say I have seen them) field but you can get one with high resistance (like 3 ohms) and try two stacked 18350 batteries. Or you try a low resistance CEx.
If you look for a little bit more then you might want to try a rebuildable atomizer like Penelope or Ithaka in the next time. These give you the ability to build your coil in a way that you enjoy but that needs some learning curve. Its not that difficult and you will find a lot of information here.
Also you might want to try the bigger 18650 batteries as they keep longer on a high level.

congratulations mylos for your gift and welcome buddy:)
CE2 are older models but they give exellent vape. So your atomizer is a good one but keep in mind that China makes atomizers with thin wires and big ohms. Your atomizer must be at 2,5 ohms as I see it. So putting 2 batteries inside GG will give you a burn taste. The solution is to put 1 battery with kick or 2 batteries but with an atomizer with higher ohms, something that is difficult to find on China atomizers, except you buy an RBA as manni said

Awesome Thanks for the replies! Helped a lot. My friend also gave me a kick. I watched a few videos on how to get it to work, so that helped tremendously.

Just one more question though:

I noticed some of the parts are a bit worn. Specifically the bottom bronze part that has the spring. Can you buy separate parts for the GG?
If so where?

I remember a while ago, Clouds of vapor had GG's. But I can't find anything anymore :(

Welcome, you seem to have nice friends, hehe... You should be able to clean all the parts without buying new stuff, except springs that are worn and O-rings. You might be able to rebuild your clearomisers yourself and go for higher Ohm`s. Bitfumo( Italian seller) has still some penelopes I believe. Next stepp is a total GG combo (Ithaka, Ody,I-atty)
Good luck
