Got my gf to finally try vaping..... on the day every single one of my cartos goes on the blink :-S Still, she seems open to the idea of switching from analogues, even if I did provide her with a sub standard vape!

That sounds like Murphy's law of vaping .. if one goes to show a new person thier PV, it will leak, clog, not wick, taste burnt or otherwise..

Well she seems to like Arctic Lemon, so I've ordered £60 of stuff from liberty flights (cartos, diy ingredients, drip tips, etc) so I'll put something together for her.

She was reluctant to try it at first because she was convinced she was allergic to PG as she kept getting a sore throat when I vaped near her. So I went and got some Bobas (100% VG) and convinced her to give it a try, then sloooowly moved her on to some PG liquids and she was fine, so no allergy

Awesome! Glad she's trying it. And really it is probably good that there were some issues off the bat, so she'll know right up front it's an evolving thing and not everything works perfect all the time. I think a lof of folks think that they'll spend their money, they'll have a system that works great all the time, then when it doesn't, they get discouraged and go back to cigs. It's not always easy, but it's definitely worth it!!
