Well I'm loving it so far, have had it for a few hours now. Love how it's black unlike many of the other mods. So I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for someone just starting to use the prodigy??? I've already seen the video on how not to over tighten the atties but other then that is there anything else I should be aware off?? :)

No need to bend the spring. Just line it up when putting the end cap on. If you bend it before the spring is broke in, it will be even tighter to screw on. Main thing line it up before putting end cap on. Also Crash I know you usually use 6v. With the prodigy you can hold down the button for your full draw. Doesn't have the heat and atty killing 6 volts has if holding the button for long periods.

If you didn't get an 801 adapter, get one. If you got the 901 because you are reusing GG adapters, sweet. Get some BE112's. That is all. Everyone should experience BE112's with a full cart with a cart mod at 5V on the Prodigy. And when you order the BE112's, order some of BestEcig's Cream flavor. It's the most like coffee creamer, and mixes awesome with cashcap.

If you notice performance dropping, use metal polish to shine up the brass contacts. You want them to shine like chrome.

"I noticed poor performance on my Prodigy over the past week, then it would intermittently not work at all. I tried new batteries, atomizers, nothing seemed to work well.
Knowing that brass tarnishes, I went to Walmart and purchased a tube of MAAS metal polishing cream. I used a Q-Tip to apply and wipe off all of the brass contacts. I was amazed on the amount of black tarnish that came off of the contacts. I mean, it was a lot! Now my contacts are bright and shiny. My Prodigy is only about a month old. The performance is up to par again... love my Prodigy.
No doubt basic maintenance is needed for a smooth running vaporizer. "

Thanks guys, yes I have the 510 and 801 adapter for it but haven't tried them yet. I've already gone ahead and polished all the connectors and the chrome bits on it. I'm using a 18650 battery on it so the spring does seem to bend quiet a bit, dunno if thats a problem??Also sometimes when I'm drawing on its like trying suck up on milk shake draw, and at other times, the draw is super smooth, am I doing something wrong??? I'm likeing the switch position on its, using it is really natural :)

With my Prodigy, I had some trouble starting the end cap back on after changing batteries. The threads are very fine and both the barrel and the end cap are aluminum so I was concerned about cross-threading the soft metal.

I held the barrel stationary in one hand, Prodigy logo on the side visible. I unscrewed the end cap slowly until it barely popped free. Holding the end cap against the end of the barrel, I used a marking pen to make an index mark on the side of the cap, in line with the tail of the "y" in Prodigy. Then I made a larger, permanent mark on the inside of the end cap.

Now when I replace the end cap, I align the mark on it with the logo and carefully start threading it in. It also helps to push in on the cap with the palm of your hand while turning the Prodigy with the other hand. This compresses the spring and takes some pressure off the threads.

Take a look at the "reverse atomizer blowout" thread. See if that helps and let us know.

I did Joe I'm only having that draw problem when I take the Prodigy out and I'm walking around with it, when I'm sitting at home and its resting in a stationary position, no problems at all.

Im really loving mine! My main vape before was the JantyStick v2 (which i still really love), I just had to get accustom to the power of this one! One thing i noticed for sure is you dont need to keep the button pressed for too long to get a crazy vape, i was used to holding the JS button for the full 11 sec...well...you dont want to do that with the Prodigy...lol a few secs is more than enough to get a killer vape. However im one of those who like to take a nice long drag so i ordered the 3.7 batt and button housing just to see how that works. I also noticed im not too crazy about the 801 atty that came with the kit...i much prefer the Janty classic atty...its a low bridge so there is more surface area to drip, less flooding and more flavor, the 801's from PS are high bridge...kinda hard to keep the whole bridge moist when it comes to a point like that...over all this is a great PV! :D
