Ok after a week and a few days of waiting on the mailman I got my kits in today.
I have the Batt's both charging, but Ive read about the atty tasting awful the first time so I want to clean it.
It doesnt look/feel oily or anything, but I still want to have a good taste the 1st time if I can.
Do I just rinse it in a cup of hot water and blow through the end that connects to the batt?
I have rubbing alcohol too, should I try that?

Hi Butterfly
Glad to see you got your kits today. If you want to wait an entire day to try them you can clean them first, but the attys have to be dry before you can use them. Bat connection especially. Blow them out, it may taste a little funny, but it will go away quickly. If you're using a prefilled, you don't need to prime the atty first, you can lay it on its side after you put the prefilled on, for a bit and then vape (like 5 minutes). They usually have enough juice to get it started. If they're the kits I think they are, there is definitely primer, just not as much as some other attys I've dealt with. Hope that helps, enjoy!

you can attach and try to let gravity do its work by holding the PV battery side down for a minute or so.

BUT...prefilled carts will run out on you fairly quickly. I strongly recommend that you purchase some juice asap.

The best thing to do as a newbie, is to buy several flavors of various nic strengths to find the strength that works for you.

Don't worry. There is a learning curve but once you find YOUR solution, you'll be vaping like a veteran.

@Scheherezade Thanks. And ya Im glad they came today, I was about to rig up an electric current to my mailbox to shock the mailman, lol.
@MrGrimme ya I read a few dozen posts before starting. I have 3 bottles of juice already, they arrived before my kit in fact. I got them in varying mg's too so I could try out the levels to find a good one. Thanks tho!

So I got a PCC too and I know how to check if that battery is charged, but how do I know if the manual one is when its plugged into the wall charger.

ok, but if I dont have the filler do I drip and then use an empty cart?
That's called dripping.
You can certainly do that if you want.
:)

Basically, dripping is just refilling with a few drops of juice right on the atomizer bridge rather than using cartridges.
It is simply a way to avoid messing with cartridges and/or using any kind of filler material.

Filler material can mess with the taste of the juice a little.
Some don't notice it, some do.

I bought the prefilled carts too, should I drip some juice before using one of those or just let it sit a few minutes once attached?
Either way would work well.

The main idea is that you don't want to take a drag right after you just blew out or cleaned an atomizer.
There won't be any juice in there to vape on.

So you can put a few drops on the atomizer bridge, put on the cartridge, and let it sit a few seconds.
Or you can attach the cartridge and let it sit a minute or two.

@Scheherezade I didnt notice that until you pointed it out, Id had the light on the side facing the wall, lol
@DC2 Ahh, ok think Ive got it. Thanks!

So far i like it. I keep thinking I want an analog, but I just hit my pretty new blue one instead.
I did add a little juice and liked that it helped with the vapor. The pre-filled's don't really do that for me.

Is it normal to hear a slight sizzle of coming from it btw?

It's kinda strange to me still, but I am definitely liking it.

I hear a sizzle sometimes when I use those prefilled carts. If you can hear after 1 or two drags, you might want to take the cart off and just press the button (on the manual) for a sec to burn a little of it off. Some of the pre-filled seem to be a little full.

It is a little strange at first, but glad you're enjoying it. By the way, it takes a bit to get your nic level up with these. Its not as fast as an analog.
