You may have finally convinced me to have a dabble with a dct tank rather than viva Novas!! How do they compare?

For me the vape feels smoother plus i don't like the wick system, easier to top up, plus i have always preferred carts.

And the Viva's leaked with me, that center rubber part on the Viva is not made very well imo.

I haven't had many leaking issues on the nova but keep seeing recommendations for a Cartomiser tank. But then it's another twenty pound investment when my current set up is performing suitably.

Cartos tanks are just the lowest maintenance route to a good strong vape.

I've not yet seen a clearo than can match the flavour, throat hit and reliable pulls of a carto.

The down side is changing flavour means a new carto.

Now if only you can continue to use that set up. I hear the UK, just like the US, is set to take away our rights to vape? You'd better get involved if you want to keep vaping! this goes for everyone! Really glad you found your perfect set up though. I just ordered mine. Its a kicked mod. I've wanted a kicked mod for soooo long, now I'll finally have one :) Can't wait. I ordered a DIY juice making kit as well.

You'll have to let me know how many tanks you get out of one Cartomiser before it needs replacing. My nova heads are lasting months.

I have gone through 3 tanks and no difference in taste/vape/th yet:)

Tbh i can see them lasting ages if you keep the tank topped up as this won't dry the cart out.

They last a lot longer in tanks. Average life of a cartomizer outside of a tank is around 4 to 6 days with thicker or darker juice refills. Average life of a cartomizer with PG heavy light juices is very dependent on how many times you burn the carto filling between fills and these can last anywhere from 6 days to two weeks or so in my experience. I've never had a cartomizer last past one month in/out of a tank. IN a tank with thick/dark juice, a carto lasts 6 to 10 days. In a tank with PG heavy light juice, 6 days to 3 weeks or so. A vivi nova head, if used with thick dark juice, will last anywhere from 5-8 days on the low side, to two weeks on the high. If using thick/dark juice paired with cleaning and dry burning/frequent maintenance, two weeks to a month. If used with light/PG heavy juice, 3 weeks to a month. If used with PG and cleaned/dry-burned/maintained frequently, around a month to a month and a half give or take a couple week or so. They are all very much relative to your cleaning/maintaining and what your picture of a good working head/carto is and what your willing to endure. I've had cartos that I had been using for 6-7 days go bad, and I would still use them because I was a teenager with no money and they would revive themselves after a while. Same thing happens more recently when my vivi nova heads perform badly.. They resurrect. Some people aren't going to be OK with that. Most people actually.. are going to throw a carto/head out if its performing poorly. They don't want to endure a day of it working poorly or a few hours of it performing poorly. Thats up to you.
