Finally met some vapers in the wild!

So tonight I went to a Keller Williams show in my hometown. During intermission between sets I go outside with my buddies and everybody else heading for a smoke break. I get outside and i'm chatting with some other buddies of mine and I look over and could have sworn I saw a couple hybrids in action. Well, obviously at this point I freak out and all but run over to them, and sure enough it's Crack3dOne(I remembered!) and who I assumed was his girlfriend?(sorry I never caught that) who are both puffing away Bounty Hunter and NLV Gold in their Orions and I whipped out my GGTB+Penelope. This absolutely made my already amazing night. I've been dying too meet some vapers in the wild (aside from vapermeets, etc.) and it was really cool to be able to hold an orion too. What a night! Great show! Cool vapers! Great time!

omg...im having jeff corwin images scream through my brain

(in a crappy accent) we are here in the jungles of New York City...where we seek the elusive vapius maxiums, better known as the stealth vapor. Local legends say the only come out at night. lets hope we see one...(at this point jeff gets attacked by barney the purple dinosaur smoking a 1100mah ego with a 1 gallon tank on it(why? just becasue)

Guess I'm lucky, I work with several vapers and trade juices with them.

Also, there are two vape shops in my town, one of them only two miles away. And two more shops within 10 miles.

Yeah it was a pretty sweet night, wore me out though. I still have to go see Dark Star Orchestra on Friday, and Lotus on NYE(both in Baltimore) it's gonna be a busy, yet FUN week!

BTW, WOW Orion's are deceptively small, I was surprised how tiny they were, they looked like 18500 or maybe even 18350 mods in 18650 mode, I couldn't believe it.

There are about 30 of us at my workplace. I'm the only one not using an ego. They all look at the size of my provari and laugh.

Oh man. I see "us" all over the place.Work, shopping, sporting events. The best was when I was in Kohl's one day with my wife. I saw a fellow vaper in stealth mode tooting on his eGo tank setup. So I walked over to him and said, "Hey....you shouldn't be smoking THAT in here" and just as he was contemplating a response I said "You should be smoking THIS!" and I whipped out my trusty eGo Twist with ViVi Nova attached. Ya had to see his face.....classic. Haha. Then we went on to compare setups and exchange vendor info and experiences for a bit until our wives were done and we had to part ways. ahhhh...good times...

I have seen one other vaper. I was still smoking at the time and was on a break outside of a conference. A woman was vaping a disposable. I was able to talk to her for a few minutes. She only vaped disposables and had been off cigarettes completely for about 7 months. This random encounter stuck in my mind and I started to vape shortly after. Now that I'm vaping full time, I've yet to encounter another vaper. Go figure!
