THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER!!!!!!! I have finally been able to replace my laptop keyboard!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t::w00t:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can tell, I'm just a little excited!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

My keyboard quit working back in September, and I've been using my on screen keyboard to type. I'm thankful I was able to do that, but it was extremely slow. Typing just one letter at a time using the mouse to click on each letter was very frustrating! Money has been really tight with my hubby out of work for the last year, but thank God I found a replacement keyboard at a low price I could afford!!!!!!! And it was easy to install, too. It only took me about 10 minutes.

But, now I'm back, and I have A LOT of catching up to do!!

I greatly appreciate everyone's patience, and I offer my sincerest apologies for having taken so long to get my keyboard up and running again!!!!

In His Love,
'T'

And through all that time you still posted the daily Bible Verses as well as other posts, especially responding to prayer requests etc.. That says a lot to me. I try to start my day with scripture but sometimes wind up skipping or forgetting even with my Bible close to my bed, as well as a couple of daily devotionals, and don't get around to reading until much later in the day. I'm subscribed to this forum so my computer notifies me when I boot up to check my mail, usually after breakfast. It's really been a blessing to me. Looking forward to reading more posts from you now that you can type easier again.

Thank you! What a nice thing to say! I usually do my Bible reading in the mornings while drinking my coffee. Then I post the daily verses here. I discovered Bible Gateway.com, which helped me keep up with the posts here every day. And when my DSL was out, I read my verses the old fashioned way! :) I also try to read my Bible in the evening before bed, although sometimes I forget, too. :)
It's been quiet here for awhile, and I'm hoping to have more discussions now that I can type again. There was a time last year when some of the discussions got out of hand, and I don't want any strife or dissension here. So I try to keep it civil, and act in His love. I think debates and other controversy belong in the Outside forum.
I really enjoy fellowship and discussion with the members here, tho. I hope to see more activity!

I'm sorry to hear about the strife and dissention. I wholeheartedly agree about that being what Outside is for. I've opened a few distressing threads there while browsing the "today's posts" frome time to time and sure don't want to go there. Years ago I used to chat in Christian rooms occasionally and there always seemed to be some antagonizing by non Christians from time to time. But I run into the same thing in the secular world when I wear my Christian t shirts or publically profess my faith in some way. I've noticed this forum as being quiet and would also like to see more positive activity. Bible Gateway is my friend as well. Especially when I can't pronounce some of the Old Testament names I have to read or teach as it will read them to me out loud.
Maybe everybody else can pronounce them but some of them give me trouble.

I occasionally post in the Outside forum, but not very much. I'm glad the mods here keep an eye on it. I've seen other boards where there are no holds barred, and anything goes. But the majority who post Outside are respectful, and abide by ECF rules.

I know what you mean about sharing faith publicly. When I was driving the semi with my husband, I went by the CB handle "Glory Be". There were times where my testimony wasn't well received, but I hope a seed was planted in spite of it.

I'll have to try the audio Bible on Bible Gateway. That's a good idea. I don't even try to pronounce some of the OT names. Who knows what it would sound like?! :D
