...........at least for now.

So for the past few days I've been vaping on some old school virus that someone kindly donated to me. Thank you! Any way, I've been trying to put my finger on the flavor profile because it's so familiar. I knew what it was, like when you are asked a question and the answer is right there on the tip of your tongue, but your brain just won't cooperate and allow you to speak it. It was there, right there, and it's been driving me nuts. Well tonight, I was out at the smoke pit, sitting on the picnic table with my weapon resting comfortably at my side when it hit me. It slapped me right across the face as I took a nice long inhale, then exhaled. Captain Crunch with Berries. I took another drag and yep, sure as day, I'm tasting Captain Crunch with the little red berry balls and it's delicious! Thought I would share. Gotta get back to studying for my Security+. Have a great day.

More proof that flavor is subjective. ;)
That's not what I get at all.

true that - even if i tried i couldn't taste that. proof that flavor is subjective for sure, and that virus is incredibly complex. such a remarkable juice. i gave up on what it tastes like to me...it tastes like virus :)

I got a bottle through trade a long time ago... it was very well steeped- couple of months maybe, and I really liked it. For some very very strange reason, I didn't actually end up ordering any NT juice until recently, and of course I included the Virus in the order. Weirdest thing- I really did not like it. For me, it just tasted like chocolate. I love chocolate, but can't stand anything chocolate flavored (candy, ice cream, etc) so I sent my bottle along with a Reo I just sold on the classies (here's hoping for another convert!). Anyway, I love that someone is tasting freaking crunch berries in this juice! I may revisit one day just because of this...

Well, I know I shoulda... but I have ACB, Frenilla & Stranilla in the cabinet for the deep steep, and my now favorite all days: Wakonda, CB, GCD, CLS & the switch... I just got overwhelmed!!! Also, it was only a 15mL bottle, and I'm really a fan of spreading the love ;)

As has already been said, Virus is a very complex concoction.
The flavor changes day to day.
If your first experience with it was from a well steeped bottle and that's what you liked, I'm not surprised that you were disappointed with the flavors from a young bottle.
My first taste was from a young bottle and I revisited it every few days, or so, to find my sweet spot in its aging process. I enjoy it throughout its changes, but best when it's had a bit of time to mature.
I suggest that you try it again, but this time, given your experience, let it steep for a few weeks before vaping.

It'll definitely be in one of my next orders... one thing I really liked about it young, though, is how well it mixed with the others. I wasn't into it straight up, but when I put a tiny bit into anything else, it was awesome! reason enough right there to order another bottle. I was just feeling generous the other night, I guess...

You got that Security+ in the bag because you CAN :)

I do suggest that if you decide later to go for CISSP, enroll in a bootcamp for it. Or are you going to head the SANS/GIAC route?

I've already done Net+ and will be finishing up Sec+ tomorrow. Next stop is CCNA and CCNP because the equipment I use is mainly Cisco. I will definitely do CISSP, that is a valuable cert to have and will help me when I put in my Warrant packet. I thought about SANS, it all depends on if I get picked up for Warrant. SANS would be good If I ever decide to head to the DC area.
