I know there have been some threadS relating to dip/snuff/snus etc and E-cigs on the site. I will put this out front, I am a former smoker who quit all nicotine in 05, then in 08 fell back into smoking but used snus to quit. Then the pact act made snus impossible to get so I switched to nasal snuff and dip. I did this combo for a few years and eventually toyed around with E-cigs, but the ones found at a general store, it was short lived. I even tried a volt, but wasn't wowed(It's a decent device). So another year went by where I was dipping and using snuff and I finally had it. My gums had it. I was sick of tobacco. Even though I "smoke free" for a few years, the can was becoming a crushing addiction.
Dip, while I never loved, did kill my nic cravings. It was totally disgusting at the same time and spit cups and a mouth full of chaw is appealing to no one. Nasal snuff was fun, but messy and unconventional.
8 days ago, I decided I was officially done with the can and the tin and any other pseudonyms for the awful product. I picked up a FIN e-cig kit and simultaneously ordered a better device, the Tornado eGo-C from Totally Wicked and some juice from Johnson's Creek. I can report with great succes, that since taking my first vape (in over a year), I have not touched a tobacco product in over a week. I feel better and I would like to hope that my gums are healing. I guess the purpose of this post was to share my story of kicking the can with E-Cigs.
