I wear mine almost every day - I've had one since they first became available. I had to restring it the other day as the cord finally broke. I've found it to be really handy, and it's a good conversation starter, too.
I actually bought mine to spin cartos, more than to wear. It works really really well!

I found some thin leather cord at Michael's craft store that worked OK - it isn't as soft as the original suede-ish stuff, but it got the job done.
I wear mine daily. Was using it to spin carts, but it broke pretty quickly after that.
I found replacement leather cord that is equal to the original at Walmart, of all places. Unfortunately it came in a 3-pack with red and green cord as well as the desired black. It was about $5 for the pack I believe.

i wear it every day. greatest thing since sliced bread. it is just like my cell or ipod can't leave home without it or I feel naked.
I have it and thought I would like it. I feel like a big dork wearing it. My kids laugh at me when I do. They say "seriously Mom, you are such a noob" But I have to say they don't say that after they see me wearing the eye glass holder one. That one is the battery attached to those old lady necklace type eye glass holders . They think that is even dorkier.

Love my Leaford Lanyard! Can't live without it! No more "Searching" for my e-cig, it's always with me. I wear it to work and some have asked me where I got my "pen holder" 
I wear 2 whenever I leave the house. I found that just wearing one I burned thru the battery too quickly and the carts got too warm.
