Finally posting!

I've been browsing ECF for years now but this is the first time I've ever posted. A long, long time ago in 2008 or so I bought a Joyteche 510 from TW and was completely unhappy with the results so I gave up and went back to analogs. Last June or so I started looking into it again and discovered Low Res atomizers and brought my 510 out of retirement. Well, that didn't last long and I ended up going back to a combination of analogs and vaping. Then this year I found the EGO-T, that quickly became an Ego Twist, then an Ego-Twist with Boge tank, and then right after Christmas the second to last nail in the coffin came with my delicious Chi-You. But even with the delicious mechanical, I knew my atomizer was the weak link but the only real upgrade from there looked like the rebuildables. My local shop, Vape Revolution, sells amazing high end RBAs but after dropping almost 300 on my mechanical setup I knew I couldn't go spend another $100+ on a "real" rebuildable.

So now I have a Chi_You and an AGA-T+. For now I'm still using a Boge and tank for my atty solution. Tomorrow I'll be buying a multimeter and some extra wire and mesh so that I can start experimenting with my rebuilds. I'm still not entirely clear on how these things go together so I'll be watching some videos tonight.

And because I'm sure someone will ask, here's a picture!

Love mechanical mods. Use a Caravela with 18350 configuration. One of the smallest mechanicals I know! Love the details, from the materials, construction till laser engravings and personal preferences in it was ordered! Really my Holy Graal! :)

A guy at my local shop has a Caravela and I was convinced I wanted one(still kind of do but only if one falls into my lap for cheap), but when I saw the Chi-You I knew things has changed. I will say, I love the look of the brass Caravela more than my SS Chi_You, but that's hopefully going to change eventually. I can also tell you that te etching on the Chi_You is much deeper than the Caravela.

I also like the Chi_You. I saw it some days ago. I have my Caravela with brushed brass 18350 tube and locking ring and with polished SS serial number ring and then with mixed finish (brushed on top and polished on side) top connector and bottom button. I also have another 18350 tube, in brushed SS.
I won't trade it for any Chi_You; in my opinion, and it's a personal opinion only, it has much more quality and attention to detail than the Chi. Oh, and the laser engravings are awesome. It's rare to see them so beautifully made.
You might tell I'm a suspect because I'm Portuguese, like Caravela, and I'm preferring national mods, but i try to put that issue aside when I compare these kind of objects :)

WOW. Thats great that you got a Chi You. Can you tell me how long you waited for the Chi you and did you get the extension tubes or does it come with it. My set-up right now is the Provari mini, AGA-T, & the Foggatti. Like you, I still use carto and tanks. Different juice for each :). Im looking for a PV, the Chi You & Caravela looks nice. Ill be selling my Foggatti to get one of these.
